Both of those are absolutley spot on.
When Tevez came on today, he changed the game. He found space for himself and others that the rest of the midfield just didn't find. Best player on the park by a long way. Not sure whats going on with Barry, but he has been giving too much of the ball away for a few games now.

I can only imagine how much shite Lescott or Bridge would've on this site if they had made the mistake instead of Ned.

The comparison of Tevez and Barry was unreal. I know they play different positions but Tevez was alive and Barry seemingly off the pace from the first minute!
Tevez movement and touch was very good and it gave us a belief that we could threaten plus it gave Stevie someone to play with. Barry looks like he is carrying an injury , which he is but surely that means that he shouldnt be out there in the first place.

Eh?? Why aim your comments at 'the site' rather than fidel??
I don't agree with him but if I felt strongly enough about it to challenge him then I would challenge him. I would not aim a dig at the site as a whole. Debate each point with the individual who has made it, ffs.
This is the main issue with the site at the moment imo. Those who are negative (or honest) about our current situation are being blamed with all that's wrong on the board. In actual fact, those who want everything to appear rosey are more to blame imo. The above being a prime example. Any Negative comments seem to be challenged as such........ "Site's shit" "Gone down hill" "Shit on here these days" "Rag" "You're ruining the place".
There are faults on both sides but this is a prime example of someone doing what seems to have become cool on here of late - Blaming all the board's faults on those who don't think that all is hunky dory with our team/club at the moment.
***Sorry if this post sis misplaced in the eyes of some. I felt it had to be said here and not on WW's thread.***

Once again Barry shocking, and definitely needs an extended time on the subs bench to shake him up

I gave Bridge a 6 and Lescott a 7 so even if he did challenge me personally, it would've been total bollocks.
Colin the King wrote:Given 7- Excellent save early doors, otherwise dependable as ever. It must be frustrating having balls constantly fizzed back to you, but he always deals with them well.
Zabaleta 7- A little sloppy on occasions and party to blame for their equaliser but brilliant going forward and gave everything for the cause. I'm glad Hughes has settled on Zabs at right back, he's not flawless but he's an awful lot better than Micah.
Touré 5- Quite clearly suffering and had to come off. Was very lackadaisical in possession which might have cost us.
Lescott 7- An improvement on recent weeks, better on the ball and in his decision making. A lot more disciplined positionally which was good to see.
Bridge 4- A few nice passes in Liverpool's half but ultimately he's paid to defend. Horrible positioning, he kept coming inside and following the ball which allowed them unlimited space out wide. We're lucky this wasn't exploited more than it was. He was doing really well up to Burnley two weeks ago, maybe his confidence is shot after that- hopefully not.
Ireland 8- Vastly improved, some beautiful touches, intelligent movement and took his goal well. In other words, what we've come to expect from Superman. Plenty of graft too. His passing can be even sharper though.
de Jong 8- I dread to think what would have happened if he wasn't playing today. Held the team together brilliantly with near perfect tackling and seemed to position himself in the right place all game. Distribution was simpler today and therefore more effective.
Barry 4- Horrendous. He looks incapable of dealing with pressure, gets harassed off the ball constantly and his passing is way off at the moment. Where did it all go wrong? He was brilliant for the first five games.
SWP 8- Very much a game of two halves for Shaun today. He was poor in the first, rarely got past Insua and looked lacking in ideas apart from one good effort. Came back second half determined to win the battle and until Aurelio was introduced to double up on him, he did. Some wonderful, mazy runs and the turn and slot into Ireland for the goal was beautiful. Carry that through to next week lad and you'll slaughter Hull.
Adebayor 6- I thought his goal, well taken as it was, papered over the cracks today. He looked disinterested for a lot of the game and for a guy of his size should be winning more than he did both on the ground and in the air.
Bellamy 6- Nothing going forward after Carragher gave him a kick, but he made some important challenges at the back. Maybe he and Bridgey should swap places!
Tevez 9- A touch of class is just what we needed and he duly delivered. Can't think of even one occasion where he gave the ball away cheaply. His running off the ball, passing, awareness and determination were vital in turning the game in our favour.
Onuoha 6- Poor for their goal and a bit indecisive in possession, otherwise pretty good. First game back in a long time for Ned, it's good to see him back in the setup and he'll get sharper with more game time.

I find your ratings more like how it looked to me.Cant see why people are being so harsh on SWP again if people are saying that Craig played better on the other side,I think they should try and watch the match again.
SWP and Tevez seem to be really gelling well down the right for me and if people think he is the weakest link down that side I think they are mistaken.
