I watched the game on RTE in a local club and I was appalled by his comments after the match. They went far beyond constructive criticism! He actually said he hates Mancini and he hates the club and all it stands for. When you read his Wikipedia entry you find he ghost wrote Keane's biography so it all falls into place really.
This is a typical Dunphy rant and most teams have been the target of one at some stage. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it to be honest. He'll change his mind in time. Only a coupple of weeks ago he was suggesting Mick McCarthy would be a good replacement for Trapattoni as Ireland manager having previously slated him as a manager.
I was going to start a thread on this after the game but i was just too gutted at the time.
It was hard enough taking that defeat but the way he hammered in to us after the game made my blood boil.I don't think any pundit anywhere has so openly showed his hatred for us.
I would advise not watching it he does not deserve the exposure this sort of carry on is getting him.The rags were lapping it up on twitter after his outbursts.
Dunphy is as consistent in what he says as a politician that's been caught on Clapham Common. He's also emotive rather than rational. He's to be pitied rather than being taken seriously.
This is going to end up a weekly thing, why do people get bothered by Eamon Dunphy? he only says what he says for the craic, no one takes him serious, every team gets this treatment off him at some stage, i actually quite enjoy his rants, you know you are doing well when you are subject to one
derby day the scores were level, then the goat was fed by neville, silly boy should know for sure, feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
