This us a slow game, why can't we keep possession? SWP is doing nothing out there on the wing. Both teams look lethargic.

we are struggling at the basics, we can't even take a throw and keep possession, Adebayor is lost on his own and its just a matter of time before we are broken down - shame with the players on display.

Hiking for the first 30 minutes clearly didn't work then for 20 minutes we actually played football and it started to come together except SWP couldn't stay on his feet the poor lad. I think we can still get something from this if we keep it up and Lescott is actually having a good game today.

I cant understand why they dont have one big electronic clock in the stadium that counts up to 45 but which the referee signals to be stopped every time there's something that warrants it - then signals for it to start again when he's ready. We wouldn't need any 'time added on' bollox that way and everyone would know exactly how long was left.

0-0 ht at Anfield vs a very awful Liverpool. Let's think positive for 2nd half, I believe we couldn't go on playing football so badly!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

Not a nice 1st half to watch..Thats more our fault than the scouse. Were not pressing enough and keeping hold of the ball.
Thought Lescott and De Jong were the best of an average bunch.
Come on lads lets show them 2nd half.

Bridge has been having a good game too - not too bad for the back four all together.

Agree. I've wanted Weiss to start for a while.

I've got a theory - MH is luring Benitez into a false sense of security by holding back in the first half to get him to sacrifice one of his two holding midfielders for the second half - then when City come back out they start getting players forward more from midfield to support Ade and exploit the extra space in front of the Liverpool defence.

SHITE TACTICS MATE.........I HOPE THE MANAGER CHANGES IT AROUND SECOND HALF AS THE BINDIPPERS WERE SHITE AND ONCE WE STARTED TO ACTUALLY PLAY FOOTBALL WE HAD THEM ON THE BACK FOOT, ALBEIT ONLY IN SPORADIC MOMENTS.

HOOFING THE FUCKING BALL UP TO ADE - HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE SEEN THAT THIS BASTARD SEASON.?????

I agree. They do it in loads of other sports. Much better.

We're playing pretty well, Liverpool are there for the taking, but we're trading periods of dominance. We need to roll with the punches and be patient.

Ned on.

He doesnt have to sub, just change the shape to try and chase a goal.
