'My' era lasts a fair time & still continues. The best is Bell, by miles & miles, but my favourite is Rodney Marsh.

Non City would probably be Supamac (Malcolm MacDonald) plus Frank Worthington, Stan Bowles, Gazza (Gazza purely for football reasons as he is a twat) edit: & LeTissier. Hopefully another English player with both supreme talent & unpredictability will one day appear again.
