Manchester city vs Liverpool predictions

Postby Blueboylewis » Thu Nov 19, 2009 7:59 pm

Thought 2 days before the game would be a good time to start this thread!

So predictions please?.......

I am going to go with a 2-0 win to city! I reckon it will be a fairly open game. Liverpool will be up for it and they will have a tight midifeld and we wont find it easy to break them down but anything is possible with Ade and co. And hopefully maybe Robbie!!!!

MANCHESTER CITY 2

Ade 2

It depends how Liverpool play against us. If they open up to try and put our defence under as much pressure as possible then I can see us successfully hitting them on the break. If they play a possession game and try and break us down slowly then I think we'll struggle.

1-1

Adebayor for us.

Narrow Liverpool win.

Huge game for them - they just have to win, and with Gerrard approaching full fitness and Johnson back I think they will edge it

But if we can get the 1st goal we are capable of beating them. No need for City to be frightened about playing anyone now.

Always a tough game at Anfield. I would be happy with (yet another) draw but would not be surprised if we either won or got beat. I really do find it that tough to call.

Im going for 0-0 think both teams will pack out midfield and thats were most of the play will be.

With both Gerrard & Torres, we're fucked imo.

I think it's like a final to the scousers and they will risk all their players to get a result. I am going for a 1.1 draw and the first decent draw for a while.I expect it to be battled out in midfield.Tevez to score
