I ws listening to talkshite last week, and they had a debate as to whether France or Ireland would improve the world cup.

IMHO, France fucked it up in euro 08, and they are a crock of shite now. Don't be suprised if they don't get through.

So, if Dunn had chipped the ball, like any Brazilian would have, this crap with Henry wouldn't have become important.

Man, it's a travesty of justice tonight .

Ireland you were magnificent in defeat.

At least the Irish have got a decent squad that isnt full of grandads and Trap is staying on till the Euros and a good chance of qualification plus youve got an amazing new ground on the horizon.

France have now guaranteed they will be the most hated side in the World Cup now.

Not the way you want to qualify.

I feel very bad for the Irish, especially Shay. I just hope that this sorry episode would finally convince the powers to be in world football that using video replays in such situation is the way forward.
Its being used in all other major sports: Cricket, Rugby, American football, so why not in football.

Well, one thing is for certain, France are not going to win the World Cup.

They blew it big time. Even most of their fans recognise the manager is a complete tosser. An 'Adminstrator' that can't play or understand the game.

oh and thanks Ireland, now we have one less competitor.

totally OT, but I've been very impressed y Swiss football lately. Basel have been oing well in Europe, the national team are qualifyingh for all the major tournaments, the U21's did great, the U17's were awesome ... What's really going on and why? Or is it just a coincidence?
