According to twitter is like saying you met a random person who told you something. Basically.
It's actually quite worrying how many threads on here have started recently with 'according to Twitter'.
If people quote Twitter, at least quote the actual person/company who has 'tweeted' it. If it's the official club page then it's true, if it's anyone else, it's most likely not true.
It's as bad as the number of people who believe what they hear on Talksport.
Indeed. More worrying is the fact that proper news channels and news programs are using twitter as a source of information. I mean ok, football, if someone gets a rumour wrong it's not the end of the world. But news shows quoting what someone wrote on twitter is just stupid, almost admirably audaciously stupid.
grrrrrrr. and that is exactly the way "news" is going, i very recently watched a bbc half hour show (world service) about syria that basically quoted from twitter accounts, with the caveat that they couldn't verify any of the stories.

here are actual quotes from an actual football site:
"We have been in talks with Kolo Toure over the past two days, it would be one of the most important transfers to be completed by an Anatolian side," Saglam told Dogan News Agency.
"Obviously nothing is certain until he signs pen to paper however, we are working hard to try finalise a deal."

Being reported tonight in Turkey that our Kolo has signed for Bursaspor on a perm deal and is on route to their training camp now.
Looks like we could be seeing a new CB sign for City after all!

There's a rumour that all our best players are leaving and we are in for the exact same players.
Can anyone confirm?

I will be disappointed(and surprised given recent murmurs from him and yaya) if Kolo leaves means we then have to sign two centre backs...
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know they are fucking skint so answer will be no. Probably some retarded loan offer.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
