If they cannot beat Arsenals kindergarten team, then they want shooting, and that RAG who occupies a room with an incorrect job description on the door, should be removed.......if I or you had spent a fraction of the funds he has, then I don't think I would be asking to much to dispose of a school team or even relegation fodder and second class teams like the ones we have drawn against.
Just shows what Arsene Wenger thinks of our so called "superstar" team if he is confident his kids would be able to beat them.
Just the same week, a so called unprofessional team waltzed into town against a bottom 3 side and were 2-0 up with 16 minutes to play, yet those useless players obviously were crap and had no heart or soul, let the team back in and drew 2-2!! Funny that you quote how unprofessional we are in a thread about playing Arsenal. Oh the Irony.
We were at home, and that other side were playing a better unit than Fulham, and a side that had at least attacked them a some point in the game before staging a comeback, thanks to a shambolic penalty and crap keeping.
Arsenal it happens too maybe once or twice a season, under Hughes to City it seems to NOT happen once or twice a season.....the only games this season where we have been "professional" in attitude and spirit for the game is the opener at Blackburn and West Ham at home, I cannot remember any others.
I dont know why I bite, I really dont. You have just defended arsenal and bigged up west ham and also dissed fulham who went to onto the the next game the following week and demolished liverpool.
We came from behind 3 times in the derby and showed amazing heart, attitude and professionalism by not letting their heads drop IMO. Oh and as your memory seems awful these days (or selective) we lost that game.

I think he will wait till he gets us to their house for that. This line up suggests to me that its not to important to him.

To be fair, I'd take anything Wenger says about this tie with a pinch of salt. He can say he's gonna field one team, then when the team sheet gets handed in it could be the Premier League 11, and leave us shocked.
We've gotta go out completely full strength and don't get involved in Wenger's mind games.

Liverpools squad is indeed wafer thin and lacking in quality to win the title in my opinion. However, they have only lost Arbeloa and Alonso from the squad that pushed the rags all the way last year. I bet these were not the two players who you are insisting form this "two man team". The have also added Glen Johnson who is having a great season and Benayoun is also looking good, were these the two you are on about? Carragher perhaps? You show me a team that is professional in EVERY ASPECT and I will prove you wrong. If that is what you expect, then off you trot rigsby because that just doesn't happen week in week out. Your problem is you cannot see the positive side of anything, and I mean anything. Try being objective on threads and stick to subject matter as you have so ironically quoted me on another thread. Then maybe you might receive a minuscule bit of respect from people on your opinion, because at the moment it aint worth shit. Therefore, I cant be arsed answering your tripe as its wasting mine and everyone elses time who reads it.

Liverpool last season had Gerrard and Torres for most of it, hence why they pushed the scum all the way, this year they are missing and losing games, playing poorly and failing, yet those you mentioned other than the two new RM players are playing.....as for Johnson, well if you say he is playing well then I will take your word for it, and just ignore most of the comments of Liverpool fans I know out here in Gibraltar who see them play regularly (every week), due to getting Show Sports in bars out here that show all Prem games as they happen live.
Show you a team that is professional in every aspect.......ANY of the sides took command of by Don Fabio Capello (England, since he took over, Madrid, Roma, Milan, Juve....need I go on?), Chelsea under the current encumbant, and also under the Special 1, Inter Milan under Jose Mourinho, Barca under Pep, and also when under the guidence of Rijkaard, Germany at ANY Major tounament.....there are just a few examples.....even Brazil are more professional and resiliant than they have been before.
The difference between ALL THEM SIDES and us, is the manager, the leader, the man who directs the side to play, trains the players to carry out his ideas, makes changes when things are not working, them sides have them aspects done professionally and the players keep concentration levels up, as they know if they drop, so will they be from the next starting line up, under Hughes NOT ONE ASPECT of that has happend since June 2008....how much longer should we wait to see if anything happens in that head of his....on Saturday he just stood there, not having a clue what was going on, came out after the game and said, we were being overrun in the middle and were unable to see the game out, well why didn't he make any changes to negate that fact???....he still had 2 subs left, are you trying to tell me that a REAL WINNER and TOP manager wouldn't have done any different to Hughesless on that afternoon, if you are I suggest you go for a lie down or decide to take up knitting as football obviously isn't meant for you.

NOW THAT IS A COLANDER POST. It has more holes than I care to count. I read it and its a joke rigsby. It would take an age to respond to EACH ASPECT of INACCURACY and I dont have the time or inclination. Happy knitting.
Wonderwall wrote:ok rigsby, just to put you at ease, I will point out a glaring FUCK UP in your assessment of professionalism!
Fabio Capello became coach of Juventus in 2004, and led Juventus to two Serie A titles. However, in May 2006, Juventus became one of the five clubs linked to a Serie A match fixing scandal, the result of the which saw the club relegated to Serie B for the first time in its history. The club was also stripped of the two titles won under Capello in 2005 and 2006.
SPOT ON RIGSBY, but you can keep EVERY ASPECT of that type of professionalism and shove it.
