Not been on for a while, and when I read threads like this, its understandable.the poster as a valid point and you lot have a go at him.

WTF is hughes doing releasing players for important internationals, when he could have insisted they go to abu-dhabi, why the fuck have Barry,Lescott SWP and Bridge been allowed to play for england, to try and secure a place in the world cup squad, when City have this high profile friendly to play.

The poster is genuinly clued up, and you lot of numptys are BAKES

Or maybe he's just a major fulking nob, for starting such a fulking silly thread

We shouldn't over react I agree, as it is just a friendly BUT...

...surely this must be pretty embarrassing for the Sheik, he invites city over to show us off to his people and Hughes turns up with a bunch of kids and gets beat? I bet it was a great experience for him but surely the sheik would have preferred his club to come over, show off his stars, win and show his people which PL club they should all support?
I bet this has done nothing for our image in Abu Dhabi!

I'm not arsed with it only being a friendly and it just being kids playing but I'd of thought this game meant a lot more to the sheik.

The Sheikh must have known that there were internationals on at the same time which, being "stars", most of our players would be involved in.

Hughes just embarrassed sheik Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in front of 30,000+,do you think he has bank rolled this project to see a B team turn up and get beat with him sat in the stands.

Honour is a big thing in the Arab World.

I am sure he will understand we only turn up and play at certain matches.

What is it you're trying to do here exactly? Your sole purpose on this board is to start stupid anti-hughes threads at any given opportunity and its BORING AS FUCK at this stage. Look at the comments left in this thread. I'm not sure if you know anything about football, but if you do, why not talk about football for a change instead of this weird recruitment drive or whatever it is you're trying to achieve with this constant drivel.

Did you post after we beat Barcelona in the Nou Camp, calling for hughes' contract to be extended by ten years? No, of course you didn't, because it was a fucking friendly, just like this was. The Sheik wasn't embarrassed because the city kids lost one nil, have some fucking cop on man. It was an exhibition match, with no meaning and no consequence.

Mark Hughes is going nowhere for now. So just fucking get used to it and stop making our eyes bleed with this nonsense.

Excellent repost mate-couldn't have put it better myself!

From a fan's perspective, all I care about is how this trip impacted upon the staff and players- was it a good team building exercise? Did it enable the younger guys to get a sense of what being part of a major set up is all about? I would think so, yes. Above and beyond that it gave match time to players who needed it. If we didn't crack the market, frankly I don't give a fuck and the only people who should are the marketing professionals.

Ranting and raving about a friendly result? Honestly?

In fairness to him, it is uncalled for adults to be throwing such insults at a child, leave the poor kid alone. He is either 6 or has the mental age of a six year old so either way its a disgrace the way some people on here have attacked the knob...oops CTD11

I'm perplexed that I find myself disliking some of my "felllow Blues" more than an ex-Mune who manages us (and who I spent my formative years HATING).

Well done some of you. Impressive cuntishness
