Ronaldo to eastlands in the future?

Postby Blueboylewis » Wed Nov 11, 2009 6:24 pm

Who would have him here? I never expected him to come out and say one day he might consider joining the eastlands revolution!!Yes the guy dives. Yes he is a twat but he is a QUALITY player and i have no doubts that he would do great. Have a read for yourself!

Here is the article incase you are stuck at work and cant open the link-

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that no amount of spending by Manchester City can make up for the history of success at their neighbours United.

However, the former Old Trafford idol has not ruled out one day joining the Eastlands revolution.
Ronaldo left United in a world-record-obliterating £80million transfer during a summer of spending at Real Madrid that topped £220m.
New home: Cristiano Ronaldo is now a Real Madrid idol
Revolution: Carlos Tevez left United for Eastlands as part of City's huge spending spree in the summer
City spent almost £120m on remodelling their squad but does not Ronaldo is not expecting a shift in power across Manchester any time soon.
'I don't see them being above United,' said the Portugal star. 'Perhaps one day, but not yet.
'At United there are great traditions, which you can't buy in one or two years. They are created by victories.
'You need to prove again and again that you are better than the others. Manchester United has always done this and is still doing it, so they are the best.'
Ronaldo joked that he was worth even more than the eye-watering price Madrid shelled out for him, but he insisted: 'The money did not change either my character or style of play.'
There were reports earlier this year that City might have even been rivalling the Spanish giants for his signature and admits he would never say never when it comes to one day wearing the sky blue shirt.
Spot king: Cristiano Ronaldo's goals have been missed at Old Trafford
Export standard: Wayne Rooney has the class to suit any league
'I don't know (about City's interest),' he said. 'I've not heard about it. Now I'm at Madrid. Nobody knows what the future will bring. Real are the club of my dreams and I'm glad to be here.'
Ronaldo believes United striker Wayne Rooney could easily adapt to the Spanish league, but does not expect his former team-mate to leave United.
'He's a great footballer who has been playing in one of the strongest leagues in Europe, so of course he would be able to play in Spain.
'In the last few years he has shown his level and I believe that in Spain he would show the same quality.
'We still talk on the phone from time to time, but we don't talk about him coming to Real.
'I think it's better that he stays at United. Rooney is an Englishman and he likes Manchester. The city and the club suit him.'

I saw that and had to laugh. They make it up as they go along.
I'm afraid that the satisfaction from totally pissing off all the prawn munchers comes nowhere near to the disgust I would feel if the diving ladyboy was ever to wear sky blue

Agree with that IBH.

He's also a mercenary little attention seeking bitch.

A move to City after two at Real would surprise me not one jot.

I'm sure I am not the first guy in Manchester to say I'd take him and I think he'd come

Don't disagree about his quality as a footballer, to me it's a bridge too far. It'd be like having chuckle 1 or Keane in our side. It would piss the scum off mightily though.

Hmm. Lev's antennae are twitching.

I know he's injured for Real at the moment but I also have heard that he's about to join portugal's squad for the play-offs - it doesn't mean that he's going to play of course. Still, perhaps a club versus country row brewing.

Perhaps all isn't sweetness and light at the Bernabau.

And who else could afford to pay his wages?

I still think that he's a tw@t though.

I would be unable to defend him when diving, cheating or any other shit. That said it's kind of hard not to jump with joy no matter who scores for us. Tough one this.

Listen lads, I know you think he is a dirty cheating diving twat and he is but that would work in our favour if we did sign him and also his quality as a footballer.

You could not possibly say no to one of the best footballers in the world from coming to your beloved club could you? I know he was a rag but Hughes sign him up!!

I just cannot ever envisage me cheering anything that the trannie could ever do in a blue shirt.
Not even scoring the winner in a derby that sent the rags down.
Several bridges too far for my principles.

I cried with laughter when Bally stamped on him. The only regrettable thing was that he didn't do more damage.

Does that answer your question Lewis?

I think a line must be drawn somewhere.

I hate every fibre of Ronaldo's being, signing him would be like selling your soul... no way I would want him at City.

I don't agree. I think there have to be limits and Ronaldo would be one of them.
