Our next 5 league games

Postby bluemoon » Sat Nov 07, 2009 6:05 pm

Liverpool (A)
Hull City (H)
Chelsea (H)
Bolton (A)
Yids (A)

Doesn't bode well going off the shite we've witnessed over the past month. This is why gaining as much points over the last 5 games was so important. I know the happy clappers will somehow try and paint a picture that things aren't as bad as they seem, but can you honestly see us getting any more than 6 points from these games, given what you've seen so far?

I don't mean to be pessimistic, but having seen little signs of improvement overall this season and the fact that a team consisting of over £200 million worth of 'talent' cannot beat the likes of Wigan (Chelsea was a freak result, before anyone starts), Burnley and Birmingham, you seriously have to start questioning whether we will even make top 6 let alone top 4. Right now, Villa and the Yids look a better bet than us by a long way.

Can only see us getting 4 points from those games. We can only hope Lescott breaks his leg, cos Hughes won't drop him otherwise. We'll get murdered by Chelski and Spurs with the current shit defence

Liverpool's defence is nearly as bad as ours
As is the Yids
(which, on a 'good' day, can be worse)
Chelsea is a write-off
Hull should be a 3-pointer
Bolton will scrap as Burnley and Birmingham did

A Hughes supporter will say

Liverpool (A) 4-0
Hull City (H) 10-0
Chelsea (H) 2-1
Bolton (A) 3-0
Spuds (A) 2-1

Me I see maybe a home win against Hull, a draw against Bolton and 3 defeats including 2 good tonkings by Chelsea ,and Spuds.

We look totally shite at the moment its frightening

We need to stick with Des if at all possible but if we find ourselves 4 points behind the supposedly turned-to-shit overtakeable Liverpool in a couple of weeks time then that might not feel so certain!

5 points. 5 draws.

Wonder what the record for most consecutive draws is?

It's going to be incredibly tough to turn it around from here. We've blown our chances in the winnable games now we're going to start losing. I'm thoroughly depressed, the only thing that could resurrect this weekend for me is seeing Chelsea batter our manager's old club tomorrow afternoon.

Can you post a few masturbation jokes to boost everyone's morale round here.

Fella goes to the Opticians and gets told "You're gonna 'ave to stop wanking", "Why? Will I go blind?", "No you're upsetting the other people in the waiting room!" ;-)

Shows how canny some of the opposition managers have been, as after 5 games they quickly worked out our tactics and EXACTLY how to counter them. Funny how the same tactical issue happened last year, and we slowly imploded at the same point last year.............just a shame the sacking didnt come after the forest/wba/take your pick game.

Strangely though, I get the feeling that no matter how bad this gets between now and xmas, he will not be getting the chop.

Next game away to scouse will be our best of the season. Lescott will have his best game since joining us.Ireland will revive the fire & flair of last season to create one goal for Adebayor and score the other himself. Garrido will have an assured game at left back.
2-1 for us.
After that we will knock six past Hull.
Chelsea 2-2
Bolton 0 City 3.
