Its a shame this Mourinho thing is timing itself this year. No matter what happens Bob deserves another season. His squad is basically complete, one more window and Hughes team would be wiped away.

If he fucks up the league this season, and next season, I doubt anyone would be defending him.

Mourinho and City IS a match made in heaven. I would feel sorry for Balotelli though!

lmao.
I wonder how anyone can be so daft to believe that the City Owner, just because is a shrewd and successfull business man, would entertain talks with another manager while HIS CHOOSEN (as opposed to inherited) man is running in to land the title.

Make no mistake Carl, I'd been fair man enough to nickname my bias openly from my registration, but that doesnt mean nor ever meant that I rate the manager more than the CLUB. I would be perfectly fine if Mansour should replace Roberto with a distinguished manager fit to hold the glorious flag of MCFC, say Pep or Bielsa. not Mourinho who is just a clown, a marketing master but a fucking clown, loved by all the media because his controversial character boosts copy sales.

and Mike: I share yr luv for a good fighting spirit and I certanly would not drive you bored if I happend to attend a presser on behalf of Bob, but I'd really love to be inside your brain if You happened to see a City manager rising his hands crossed in the sign of being handcuffed, as Moaninho did at San Siro, in front of 75,000 screaming fans, because his side was playing shite and the referee had - RIGHTFULLY - red carded 2 of his players. Fortunately enough they were 75,000 civilized people from Milan: should that happened in Rome/Naples or Palermo the memory of Heysel would have suddenly and tragically faded.

one said that, I am entitled to my bias and rightly so do other folks.

I have a feeling that this story has SOME merit. But I hope that Mancinis fate has not already been decided. If win the league this year there is absolutely no reason to replace him. Having said we don't know if Mancini wants to go elsewhere.

Hold on a sec.

Pisshead Robson thinks Mourinho might be up for the job.

Courtesy of the wee Bapfest Telegraph:

Manchester United legend Bryan Robson believes Jose Mourinho has the right credentials for the "near impossible" task of one day succeeding manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson has celebrated his 70th birthday and the 25th anniversary of his appointment at Old Trafford this season and is showing little sign of slowing down. Because of that, Robson, Ferguson's former captain, does not think the club have even thought about the identity of their next manager.

But Robson knows the time will come when the issue has to be dealt with and he feels Real Madrid's former Chelsea boss would be a good fit. The former England captain said: "How do you replace Sir Alex Ferguson? It is near enough impossible. Mourinho is definitely one who would be up at the top of the list. His record speaks for itself."

Aside from the suitability of Mourinho, who has won the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, Robson feels United might have other candidates closer to home.

Robson has been impressed with the work of Ferguson's assistants Mike Phelan and Rene Meulensteen and would consider them as good options.

Robson said: "Whoever goes in there they will have their opinions and ideas, but because of the success United have had over the last 20 years, you can't go in and rip everything apart and try to rebuild the way you think it should be.

"How can you do that after so much success?

"Why not Mike Phelan and Rene take over from Sir Alex Ferguson when he does decide to pack in.

"That never gets mentioned but they know how it works. It has always has to be someone who is really well known with a track record."

"Viv Anderson would also be a good shout, he has all of the Dads Army Dvd's and he did a great job at Boro"

A lot of City fans are already wearing tin-foil hats to avoid being brainwashed by the media. Imagine the paranoia if we had Mourinho.

I suspect much of his odd behaviour is calculated - but he also genuinely seems to believe that everyone is out to get him, and over the years it appears to be getting worse. A recipe for stress!

Agreeing with you twice so quickly make me uncomfortable Hazy Mate.

We need a team player with no baggage. Jose is good but his ego is too much of a distraction that we don't need. He suits the rags.

moaninho would be very happy to hold balotelli , he's not stupid as some city's fans brainwashed by the redtop are.

at the same time you can bet moaninho would suddenly get rid of the not good enough players like hart richards lescott and barry coz he's no time to waste in his run to the glory.

some of you really deserve moaninho.
