Can I take credit for the majority on here now seeing what I knew about RSC before he signed???......I stated (and was slagged off for doing so) that this fella was crap and a waste of time and space.

The signing of him, must be Kool Khaldoon's way of letting Hughes hammer his own nails into his ready made coffin!.

Barry = since the derby has been rubbish
SWP = rubbish since the Celtic game at CoMS early August
RSC = rubbish since June
Lescott = rubbish since he signed and costing goals
Richards = rubbish since August 2008
Adebayor = poor since he returned following his ban

Try and let this register matey - MARK HUGHES ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE.

So you can take it easy with all the crystal ball stuff and making his own coffin.

Santa Cruz is still unfit and shouldn't have been played. It was a mistake by Hughes. And it was a game it would have been nice to win, but we didn't which is the fault of players and management. No more, no less.

Now you can throw your toys out of the pram and swear to the holy christ that hughes is definitely gone everytime we don't win, but only a fucking idiot would want to sack a manager that has us fourth with a game in hand and that has only lost once (controversially) all season.

He's here for the long term & I'm delighted. It will make your rants all the more fun to watch I suppose, but although you have managed to fool yourself into thinking he's gone, I've a feeling it will take a lot more to fool others on here.

Keep going though, its fun - I can imagine you with a vein about to burst out of your sweaty brow.

I hope he stays for 25 years. Well done so far Mark Hughes, we're on course, but you need to lift the team out of this bad form, starting at burnley.

Fucking sick of people making excuses for Santa Cruz saying he's not fit. He is fit otherwise he wouldn't be playing sure he isn't back to 100% match standard but that's no mistake for being so fucking poor. Petrov came back from a massive long injury and played a lot better. Your argument is flawed the player was just the best of a bunch of shite players and unfortunately MH had an infatuation with him. Santa Cruz though is 90% fit so we expect at least 90%. Bellamy's 100% fit and he gives 200% so I don't see what the problem is? I get you wanna stick up for one of our own players but let him earn our respect before you jump to his defence people.

Also when do you consider a player to be fully fit?? When he finally becomes good?? As we are fucked otherwise as your probably only gonna get about 3 months out of SC before he's usually injured again and I doubt he's gonna get good in 3 months.

I don't think dropping is whats needed, I think a different lineup.

------------------Given

Zabba-----Toure------Lescott----Bridge

-------------------Barry

---------Ireland----------Tevez

SWP--------------------------------Petrov

-------------------Ade

With Tevez taking a more advanced role as an attacking midfielder with Stevie box to boxing, and Bazza sitting and spraying nice passes about.

Tevez getting up with Ade as much as possible and Petrov and Sweep flying down the flanks.

Subs. Taylor, Kompany, Sylyvinho, De Jong, Johnson, Bellers, Santa

Once Robbie comes back have a rethink, but I feel that would be our most productive team for saturday, on the basis Kolo and Ade are fit.

Bit harsh to have a go at Santa, he's working his way back to fitness after all.

Barry should know better but get him into his England position instead of De Jong and he'll be fine.

Tevez needs to sort himself out. He'd link better with Ireland than SWP.

SWP looks like a square peg in a round hole at the moment. His position must be under threat.

We're certainly not as formidable without Ade and Kolo thats for sure, january could be a long month.

Since we are on the topic of dropping players, lets start naming potential lineups against Burnley:

----------------------- -Given-

----Zabs - ---- - Toure - ---- - Lescott - ---- - Bridge

--------Weiss - ------- -De Jong - ------ - Petrov

--------------- Ireland -
-------------------------- -Bellers

------------ Ade- -------------- -Robinho-

Bench: Taylor, Johnson, SWP, Tevez, Barry, Kompany, Sylvinho

We'll have Robson available for Burnley, we do miss his creativity.
