Sweety, it's the match thread. It's not really the right forum for well thought through, balanced posts.
We have't been completely gash, but far from great.

My assesment:

minute 0-10: absoulte gash. Brum were all over us, playing ina fierce pace, clsoing us down high up the pitch.
10-25: we played OK, creating chances from breaks, and started to establish our own game.
25-40: we were in control without creating much.
40-45: Gash. We we're back to the same sort of game as the during the first ten minutes.

A couple of reminders on how far we've come (allthough it's hard to see evidence of it today):

1) 2 years ago, I would've been well pleased with RSC's performance. He woul have been an excellent addition to Sven's 3-5-1 set up. He's holding the ball up really wel, but deosn't really deliver. I.E. We've been spoilt.

2) Before the take over, I would've loved to see us signing players such as Larsson and Benitez.

Dunne.

4-5-1. But since you're asking, probably Dunne.

We should sub Given and bring on Taylor so we can make history with both goalkeepers having the same last name.

The two changes needed are obvious to me. Petrov for RSC (providing he's fit enough) and Ireland for Barry. De Jong holding.
