Top quality midfielder. One of the best around. His place in squad should never be put under question. That's what I was told.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

He's been back in full training for a week or so but was missing today.I reckon/hope that's because he is ineligible for the CL. Assuming fit I would expect him in the Carling Cup game.

If we sign DeRossi in Jan we won't see much of him.
I hope he gets fit before then, I think he was a tremendous player.

Mancini has talked down the possibility of prising him away from there saying he doesn't think DeRossi would leave but made it pretty obvious he wants to sign him. Now DeRossi has said this: “If I was to go I would prefer a foreign country. If you don’t find a deal, you can’t stop playing football.”
Next summer we could sign him for nothing, so presumably he could sign a pre-contract with us in Jan even if we don't buy him then.
I imagine Hargreaves will play v Arsenal if fit.

The rare times I see him play he looks good to me. I think be a good replacement for Yaya when he goes.

How many times have you seen him play for us? As far as I can recall he has only played one game and that was in the carling cup against Birmingham. Are you basing your opinion of his ability on one game against a Championship side?

only makes sense if he meant "good replacement for Yaya when he goes to Africa in January"
in which case i might be tempted to agree
