Cristian Zapata is also out.....fuck me...COME ON CITY.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

If they are as understrength as we're being led to believe we should field our strongest possible side to take advantage of it: QPR are our next PL opponents which should be an easy three points, even though their small pitch might cramp our style

This will be a tough game. Better we concentrate on who we have, than who they dont.
Approach this in the right way, and we can get a result because it is must-win. Last thing we need is another Thursday Europa League campaign on our hands.

I rekon Silva's poor performance was more of a one off though tbh.. however I agree and would rest Silva on the basis that he needs resting and keeping fresh. Something tells me though that Bob will take another view. That he could rest Silva for QPR and play him Wed to sort of throw him back in the deep end v Villareal and see how he responds.
It was interesting to hear Bob say, in the context of his latest criticism of Johnson that he should always play well, like David Silva!

They always seemed to have at least two players either surrounding Silva, or moving in on him, every time he got the ball; which made Nasri's performance all the more disappointing, and which is why I think its critical that Milner starts, because he always has his industry to fall back on, even if the 'flicks' aren't coming off.

We need to improve our goal ratio...Napoli are 3 goals better off than us.

What about keeping the Balo momentum going? The guy is on fire(works)
Yeah, but I don't think it will faze Mario as much as it had done to Edin, particularly after his Munich horror-show; Mario can always come on and score inside 20 minutes, but I just think the critical thing is getting Edin to break his Euro duck
Definitely Balo for me. He's imo at the moment the in form striker of the two
All considerations of who would benefit most for confidence etc are secondary on cthis occaision - IMO - this has become a must win game and whatever team Bob thinks will best achieve that

Definitely Milner for me. Nasri can have a go at demolishing QPR on his tod.

Yep I agree with this line-up, offers enough defensive protection and work rate with pace and creativity going forward.
We may well have to be patient in trying to break them down because they were well organised in defence at Eastlands and although they are at home this time, they are again missing a number of key players so may opt to play on the counter-attack as they did away. Either way we have to take at least a point out of this game.

Amazing to think that's even a problem after our league form this season.

That's definitely the pivotal game. Will be a virtual knock out cup tie

I expect this. Although I wouldnt be surprised if Barry played over Yaya and we rested Silva.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

I'd be very very surprised if he played no Silva AND no Yaya.

Naw, the states. DLS isnt until Friday here I believe. So tomorrow's game will be played at 1245pm here (an hour later than normal).

Starts at 3:45 here on the east coast. I will probably only be able to watch the last 20 mins though.
