Their defence were all over the place and STILL they tried to claim offside on a backward pass. Classic.
Agree.

What was your favourite goal from today?
Balo's first for me: the arrogance of genius!

Third for me, interplay in the lead up was just brilliant.
Come on, how good is this thread, deciding which one of the six goal at Old Trafford you like the best?

Impossible to pick one of the SIX over the others.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

The second or third, can't make my mind up.
The sixth had me laughing like a drain though.

Got to agree re the 6th one. Can't remember ever laughing as much at a goal we have scored.

Yaya's two at Wembley were my ultimate City goal moments, but all six of these had me dribbling. I do like to see us score from set-pieces so the fourth was nice; and I love seeing strikers score tap-ins. Some of the build-up play / possession football followed by the incisive pass to slice the redshit open was tremendous. Balotelli's finish was lovely. Great to see Silva score a one-on-one. Fuck it, I still can't choose.

I can't actually remember the fifth, need to watch it again.
The third for me was the best footballing goal - Balotelli's backheel was magic.

Third for me as well the interplay the back heel from Ballotelli, as for the 6th I was kneeing infront of the tv laughing my arse off - kids thought I'd gone mad & the mrs was shouting at me out of the kitchen to keep the noise down :D

I do agree with you Dazby, although I did kind of go a little mental when the sixth went in (2 in fergie time) did make me lose my composure somewhat. Ok ok, I ran round like a mentalist much to the wifes amusement.[/quote]
did this for all the goals!, nearly in tears at the final whistle! first goal for me, just for the celebration.

So hard to choose all meant so much, but will go for Silva's as no-one deserved it more. The man is sheer class and I am so glad he got on the score sheet!
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

First couple didn't mean anything as I still didn't have the belief that we could 'hang on'. When Fletcher scored with 9 minutes plus 15 of taggart time, I was panicking and wanting de Jong on.
The fourth convinced me we'd won, the fifth was a great goal and made the victory more emphatic, but the sixth. SIXTH. Away. At the best team in the league. Letting in six is much, much worse than five. Not sure why one goal makes so much difference, maybe it's that six goals is a rarity in top flight football.
So for me it was the sixth, just for the embarrassment factor.
On the back of that result I'm now expecting to lose the next two games to wolves, but you can't expect me to change the pessimism of a lifetime overnight...

Footballing-wise the third was above the others, from the backheel onwards.
But I cannot stop drooling about the first. Balo had already decided that he wanted to put it there as soon as he saw that the ball was passing through to him. It was like a pool stroke: "white ball in bottom right -from his perspective - corner round those two red poles in way". Pure skill and much more difficult than it seems.

Any goal potted in their net by a City player is a great one.
Personally I loved the simplicity of Dzeko's knee finish from 1 yard! However I also loved Silva's numeg, Aguero finishing off a silky move, Mario steering it in brilliantly and revealing the t-shirt, Mario also tapping in at the far post, and not forgetting Edin capping it off with a left foot finish at the death.
Loved em all.

What a perfect reason to rewatch the match. I too can't make up my mind so I think I'll borrow your idea and watch it all again.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs, it's just possible that you haven't really grasped the gravity of the situation.
