The only thing you can say about that is we got a point more than Chelski with ten men - we ground it out against a bunch of doormen

Don't know but he will win you those tight away games at Wigan.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Bit harsh given he had 10 minutes in which to do anything - and we only had 10 men.

Wasn't impressed with his half arsed jogging around though, he still doesn't look match fit.

We lowered ourselves to their level and started to play rough and this was the outcome. When you set your team negatively against likes of Wigan, draw is best you can hope for.

It could have been worse to be honest, OK we didn't exactly paint ourselves in glory but it really could have been alot worse, We'd have lost the game under these circumstances last season. An improvement is definetly required next week, let's hope our Toure is back, as there was little or no confidence at all today in the defence. Ned should be given the oppurtunity to replace Lescott when he returns, Lescott doesn't look anywhere near as good as he should be.

Anything for a dig.

We had 10 men. Away from home.

But I suppose if we had a three pronged attack of Ade, Tevez and RSC supported by Ireland, Petrov and SWP and then conceded on the break you would have been chuffed cause at least we went for it?

Third outing and I don't think he has completed a pass for us. Looks just like he looked for Bayern and for Blackburn last season though so not really a surprise.

A disappointing result but a more disappointing performance. We know how Wigan play but didn't set up to counter them at all. A draw was probabably a fair result in the end but we hardly created any chances.

We wouldn't have been down to 10 men if Hughes had set team positively and encouraged them to play positive football and not get involved when Wigan inevitable try get rough with us.

i think they are both lacking...and it's a fucking coin toss for me honestly. Does that make you feel better?

i think Zabba is actually better played in midfield...than at RB. Regardless, he was somewhat unjustly sent off today...i don't even think his rash challenge made contact for the 2nd yellow, but he's a big boy so he's got to know what that will get him before he does it. Sad.

Was the setup negative when we were playing West Ham of the park 3 weeks ago?

Behave, no way was that a penalty. If that had been given against us there would have been uproar on here.

Shoulder to shoulder, sadly SWP went looking for a pen rather than staying up imo
