Did he write it on two tablets and have you carry it down the mountain to the people?

He is like a 30 year old with the legs of a 27 year old, they haven't been used for 3 years, he must have another 6 years at the top level left in him yet. If he does make a start for us, which is very unlikely IMO, it would be very funny if he played well and even scored!

I don't suppose they'll be calling it a stroke of Mancini genius a la Taggart/Owen.
Dammit! I've contributed to the joke thread now.

Yes but remember he knows a lot of secrets about the rags and their coach!
From Torino, Italia to Manchester, Lancashire this City is always our City!

And I'd still like to know why you were there : didn't I cast you out of heaven some years earlier ?

Your role was the Virgin therefore you get no castout responsabilities.

To be honest, I'd be fairly happy about this signing. If its pay as you play, and im pretty sure it would be, whats to lose? Even if he fills in for Vieira, 10 to 15 games a season. He will be an asset. Point to prove.

It actually makes perfect sense if you put some thought in to it.
I've thought about it. It still doesn't. Barely played a minute's football in years. No better than what we have even as a bit part player.
