Where does that come from? I mean, where have you heard that?

Seriously, unless you've heard it from the player himself, what have you got to go on that he wants that?

Why are there so many people on here who believe whatever the media write? It really astounds me...

Past his best at 25?

i think he's a fantastic player. And he'll even get better. Imagine that?

cheers

what i mean is that when he burst onto the scene a few years ago he was brilliant and he's never even looked like reproducing thos original performances he got a bad injury if i remember correctly and he never really came back (the same player). since hughes we have bought what seems like endless fullbacks who could be good then never really go on to do anything spectacular, and it always ends up with Zabaleta getting back in the team and playing brilliantly. time and time again he fights and runs around all day long he deserves to play in the champions league with City.

are you counting Boateng as a FB? i think a lot of us got confused because he has to cover that position with the German squad, but he clearly fancies himself a CB, end of story.

so we bought Kolarov and who the fucl else "since Hughes"? im honestly at a loss for another fullback purchase...how fucking retarded am i? Bridge, Zabs and Kolarov are the only three i can think of that Hughes and Mancini bought. Not exactly loads of them to be fair. Esp since Zabs probably played more as a midfielder initially since that was maybe his more preferred position...i dunno. i can't recall when we bought him but i felt like we bought a MF player and not a fullback. Which would mean we bought 2 leftbacks in like 6 transfer windows. Not exactly crazy.

cheers

No, I think a lot of us got confused by the fact Hamburg, Germany and City have all deployed him as a fullback as his primary position. Funny that.

Zabs was bought as a direct replacement for Corluka who was our right back and used primarily as a rightback, not a midfield player. Funny that.

I realise you have only been a City fan for 7 minutes and roughly 12 seconds, but some of the crap you come up with is beyond me, and now what's even worse you have the more susceptible Scottish posters agreeing with you, please return to under your rock with your "cheers" and "just sayin" and leave football to the fans and not whatever the hell you are. Sadly, nothing funny about that.

Slim, are you ok? Just noticed this.

I think out of the two new buys that Boetang has more to his game to come, I was dead against signing him after seeing him play for Hamburg the season before, then last season didn't hold too many surprises, but he certainly has the physical attributes that are valued in this league, even though his loping style makes him look like he is just strolling around the park. If he is set on a move away then there is little City or even a contract can do about that, but writing him off on ability at this stage I think is premature.

Kolarov really needs to improve and I am not convinced what we have seen isn't his best and maybe he just isn't suited to this league or level, but again would be premature to ship him after all we give attacking players plenty of time to adjust(No-one is talking about shipping Dzeko yet), no reason defenders shouldn't get the same patience.

Your mixed messages would suggest that you are either off your head, a total cunt or perhaps just a tad susceptible???

Keep dragging those knuckles, slim. We need dense cunts like you on this board.

Keep working on that personality disorder.

Cheers

P.S What part of Manchester are you from and what school did you go to? I ask as I can remember this lad at Bank Meadow in Ardwick who used to walk around the play ground, dragging his knuckles and grunting expletives to himself, have we met before?

I say this with all sincerity, but where is the mixed message? I think Boateng can improve, I am unsure Kolarov can, but writing off either of them at this stage is premature. Seems fairly straight forward to me.

And the second part? Everything I stated was true, well Doom is up to 13 seconds by now I am sure and as he claimed we only signed 2 leftbacks in three years, he should probably have checked his "City Fan for Dummies" book and seen that Sylvinho was also a left back and the one game Glauber Berti played was at left back.

Now be honest, your reply would never have happened had I not called you a "susceptible Scottish poster" and you have to ask yourself, was what you replied a measured response to that? Maybe I would have taken you to task over it before but quite honestly you are doing a brilliant job of displaying the chest pounding, knuckle dragging, dense cuntary you are accusing me of and I fear anything I do in response will pale in comparison. So well done on that.

So your address of the actual subject matter is "Lovely"?

Thanks.

And you're the one talking about personality disorders, wow. Psychotic denialism is alive and well north of the border. If you cannot address the topic even a little, then this belongs at the very least in off topic and probably PM's, but I would definitely ignore both of them, so I am unsure what options are left open to you here.

Make sure in your reply as I am sure it's coming to mention knuckle dragging, weirdo and ask where I went to school again, cause that's getting your so far.

Must have been the knuckle dragging weirdo I used to laugh at. Hope you're ok now and less of a source of laughter for everyone.

In terms of addressing the actual subject matter, I already have. You jumped down someone's neck for saying pretty much what you yourself said a few hours earlier. Just highlights your instability and lack of mental health.

Hope you're ok. Good luck, mate.

The fact you think they are the same point says all you need to know about dense cunts, and when you combine "dense cunt" with "knuckle dragging weirdo" I suspect that guy you used to laugh at in school was probably your own reflection, complex concept for you to comprehend, but did he point and laugh at you at the same time? I suspect this was the case.

"We only think he is a fullback because he was filling in at that position for Germany"(erroneous as it is) does not equal "We shouldn't write him off too soon".

"We've bought Kolarov as a fullback and no-one else as Zabs doesn't count"(erroneous as it is) does not equal "Kolarov may be playing at the limit of his abilities and he is unsuited to this league."

However....

"We only think he is a fullback because he was filling in at that position for Germany" is directly refuted by "We think he is a fullback because he played that position not only for Germany, but for City and Hamburg as well."

"We've bought Kolarov as a fullback and no-one else as Zabs doesn't count" is directly refuted by "Zabaleta was bought as a fullback as a direct replacement for another fullback."

However in no point in Doom's rampant literary abomination did he talk about the success or failure of the purchases, you agreed with him on a point he never made, a point he got wrong and one that at least you posted was "IMO", maybe it wasn't borne out in reality so far, but I don't think you are wrong and never said you were, you just accepted the wrong premise as a basis for it.

Maybe if you had replied to my post I made a few hours earlier you would have been more on the right track and in the right context with your points, you didn't and that's only really your fault, no need to get belligerent over your own mistake.

OMG, they are not minor differences, they are dichotomic points directly addressed in my reply. And if you think "susceptible Scottish poster" is me having a go, then you need to toughen the fuck up princess. Need a fucking tissue? Where's Dazby when you need him?!

Guys, chill out, there are always pre-season rants and arguments on here, and no one ever wins a forum fight, it just pisses both sides off and they go and take it out on someone or something else they can actually interact with. If this conversation was in real life, you'd have either sorted it out within 30 seconds, or smacked this shit out of each other until someone won. You can't do that on here, unless you challenge each other to a game of something online.

How about Bejewelled over MSN...........
