Behind The Kit (Mini Series) on OS

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Behind The Kit (Mini Series) on OS

Postby lythamblue » Mon Oct 12, 2009 12:52 pm

Is it just me ..... but does anyone else think that the Designer presenting this, is the look alike and sound alike spitting image of Ricky Gervais playing the character of David Brent from the Office??!!

For any of you that haven't yet checked it out (it's already on Part 5), it is actually a quite interesting story of how Umbro developed our new kits this year and all in all, a good idea for site content in the mddle of an international break.

It's just the bloke presenting it. I'm sure he is a great bloke and really seems enthusiastic as to what he has designed ..... I just can't take what he says seriously because of the 'David Brent' bit.

I'm half expecting him to do something really daft and cringeworthy any minute.
Relax ... It's only a message board in hyperspace!!

I do know exactly what you mean though

That aside, it's actually a really cool series of videos. I love how passionate he is about it and it's really interesting hearing about some of the design details (for the way that the sleeves are cut so the shoulder is like a suit jacket and broadens the shoulders etc).

I do like the content they are making for the OS since it was relaunched. Very nice it is

Impossible.....

The third shirt is the nicest football shirt I have ever owned....nay.....ever seen. It is a work of art

The away shirt, well I wasn't keen when I first saw it but it is also magnificent.

I don't own the homo shirt yet but i think it will bring out my amazing blue eyes in the most splendid way

i love the away Tevez shirt you've got. it's tops. It helped him score 2 as well just by pulling it on your fat ass.

i would agree...i can't imagine where you go up from here. If i were them i'd be tempted to NOT even offer a new kit next year except for a European kit if we're blessed to make it into Europe. That would be really revolutionary...kits for 2 seasons. We'd be destroying football.

After all the recent 'Off Topic' shenanigans, I'm surprised this hasn't received more attention. Any chance of a photo Ant?
