I think we are trying to sign Sanchez even if Tevez stays, to play alongside him. We need another player to replace Tevez.
Sammy Eto'o?

Like I've said it's far more likely to be Ibra than Eto'o as Bobby really rates him

I see your point but I doubt Marwood & Khaldoon feel the same though. Sneijder + Eto'o would be a good deal because Sneijder is at his peak wheras Ibra would just be chucking money away on a 30 year old unless there was another younger Barca player we're interested in as part of the deal. I would take Afellay off their hands.

He can play upfront aswell & he's been great in a free role this season.

Don't forget, Thierry Henri started out, supposedly, as a winger.

I know he talks shite but Redknapp came out and said some of our targets this summer would "blow your brains out". The Tranny may be one of them. For me some signings turn a club round (Tevez), some keep them where they are (Milner) and others fuck the club up (Tranny). Can't the Sheikh arrange for Argentina as a land mass to be moved and attached to Wales so that tevez can stay. As for the call about Thatcher's tits.....they weren't a bad set in her day!!

Balague now saying it's from the player. No, wait, it's from the players entourage.

What he actually said was that we'd already signed two players who would blow your brains out (and this was just before we were due to play them). So he wasn't hinting at possible future signings or rumoured interest, he was explicit with his quote - it's just that his quote was a very obvious attempt to try and destabilise a few of our players.

Slim - See what your saying about pre-match mind games with Redknapp. I still maintain that Ronaldo is the one player in the world who would destabalise what we have at City more than anyone else.

He would not be a good fit in the dressing room. I am sure he would bring a bad vibe into the team which as of now seems to have a great chemistry going. What we need are young up-and-comers who have a thirst and desire and that have not yet been part of something really great so will be molded into fitting our chemistry.
Rarely does our club come out and deny signing players but they have strongly rejected being in for him. And I think it is wise, now it is our turn to state who we want and not instead of everyone and their mama rejecting us before we have even been in for them.

I've heard that City are very serious about Ronaldo and have made an offer that Madrid won't refuse but the problem for Madrid is that they can't been seen to be fodder for the richer Man City so they've engineered a fallout story to keep all sides happy.

Ahhh and ITK Season starts. I'm sure some of these ITK's are creaming their knickers at the thought of the summer transfer window and City.
