Good to see so many of them stay to watch the cup being presented.

Pulis was gracious in defeat too, saying the best team won in his interview, and applauding as they were lifting the trophy etc. If they weren't such dirty bastards on the pitch I'd have more sympathy.

Every Stoke fan I met/had a beer with today was tops. I think us getting the CL place and them deffo in europe took any sting out of the fans but in a good way!!!

They were loud! Fair play to them - but 2nd is the first loser :)

Compared to the Carling Cup (where Birmingham lifted the cup in a half empty stadium) I thought they deserved a lot of credit for staying back and applauding both teams.

Didn't meet a single Stoke dickhead yesterday. To a man (or woman) they were respectful and nervous (just like us) before the game. Afterwards on the M6 at the services, they were crestfallen but still gracious in defeat.
Full credit to them.

I'd quite like to think that everyone was pretty dignified in celebrating the win....I know I was. I went bananas when we scored but once the whistle went I was pretty quiet in my own thoughts (and tears). We know only too well what it's like to lose, and lose painfully and I'd like to think that none of us who have been through the last 35 years will ever act like smug dickheads (like the mongs from Salford) whenever we are lucky enough to win again.
Fair play to Stoke though, I had messages/calls from my mates who follow them before the match wishing us luck and all of them congratulating us afterwards.
Good effort all round

Stoke fans are brilliant.
Sadly the same cannot be said for their players.

My tickets were in with the Stoke fans (as were a lot of other blues) - I was very impressed with them - no hassle - talked objective and friendly - seem to hate the scum - and sang their hearts out throughout - really impressed the way they stayed behind

Chatting to one before the game, his big regret was that it was us they had to try & beat rather than Utd.

As I got to my car at Canons Park I heard 2 voices say something to me and thought "Oh God here we go". Got back out to see 2 Stoke fans who then said how the best team had won and they hoped we did well in the Champions League. I said the same for them for the Europa League and how it was a pleasure to travel back on the tube with their fans, unlike the appalling trip back on the tube a few weeks back with the scum fans.
Very impressed by their fans throughout the day and their club should be proud of them

Echo what everyone has said above about the Stokies, bar one lad who clearly had some rag blood in his genes they were very gracious and chuffed that they had reached the final.

I hope they get a warm reception Tuesday night. Not sure how we'd go about that mind you.

and anything we did to show respect to them may well come across as being condescending twats. probably best to be our usual warm and welcoming selves outside the ground and then set the south stand kiddies on them once they're in.

I must admit i was pleasantly surprised by the Stoke fans and how gracious they were in defeat after the game plenty of them said well done to us and that the best team won. I have completely changed my outlook towards Stoke fans now.
Well done to them they were a credit to their club unlike the twats from the swamp.

Agree with all of this. The whole day was genuine, relaxed and friendly. I will be supporting them in the Europa. All the lads I met were knowledgeable and aure to chat to.

slightly different approach from me.
left the ground just as the last city player left the pitch, walked down wembley way and there was quite a lot of verbal abuse about
such as ( you know the tunes)
stick ur miilions up ur arse etc
youve just won a cup and you still dont sing, youve just won a cup.....etc
you live in the shadow of the shit , you live in the shadow of the shit
and one dickhead started chanting glory glory man utd
Now these were some of Stokes "lads" and the City fans about were mainly family orientated, so for me these cunts tainted the day. Never liked Stoke fans to be honest anyway.
Havin said that, fuck em. I will stick our millions up my own arse as I was lucky enough to witness Yaya's fuckin rocket slam into the back of the Wembley net.
