I was very impressed with Mario's discipline, but Nige was everywhere for us, one of his best performances of the season (if not the best)

De Jong for me. Absolutely bossed Stoke.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I'm a great de Jong fan and he was magnificent today but I have to go with Mario.

Good performances all over. Thought Lescott had a better game than Vinny and that doesn't happen often. Richards did well. Silva outstanding in patches and Tevez was back to his usual hard working effort.
Balo played his best game so far and did really well to resist the persistent niggling and fouling from Stoke, thought he was going to lose it at one stage but held it together. Excellent sign if that is the shape of things to come.
Big Nige was truly awesome, barely missed a tackle and I think despite their size he pretty much scared the shit out of Stoke. Hero stuff.
Well played boys one and all!

Dame right Nige bossed the midfield and love him for it! He is the best at his position in the world. No one esle can bring order to a game like he can

Corporal Mark Ward. He set the standards before a kick was even taken.

De Jong by a country mile. Balo played well, but there were 3 or 4 others just as good.
