Sturridge transfer fee?

Postby Mark Garrett » Thu Oct 08, 2009 4:07 pm

What was the transfer fee we received for Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea? I remember seeing that the figure was to be decided by a tribunal but have never seen how much we actually got...

Think the tribunal won't be for another 6-18 months. That's the way these things usually pan out.

So if that's the case, all Chelski ave to do is keep him out the first team and the fee will be as low as possible. As soon as the fee is paid, then they can play him or do what they want and sell him for four times what they paid for him or keep him if he's doin ok. TWATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it is an absolute wedge, not because we need the money, not because chelsea need the money but because it will be wasted on a player they'll never seriously use, he is a good player, but he isnt as good as he thinks he is.

I COULDNT CARE LESS WHAT THE FEE WAS - HE,S AN ARROGANT LITTLE FUCKING SHITE AND IM GLAD HE,S GONE.

SOONER OR LATER BELLAMY WOULD HAVE SMACKED HIM IF HE,D OF STAYED HERE.

can you picture Bellamy's reaction to Sturridge trying to take that penalty on his own instead of our regular penalty taker like he did last season? he would have shoved a sand wedge up his ass right on the pitch.

I love our little dickhead Craig. i can't believe i feel that way, but i do...

cheers

Top move for him, has he even made the bench yet?

If they don't sit for 18 months to sort out a fee we'll get a tube of Smarties if we're lucky.

Think he was on the bench against Liverpool. Don't know about any other matches though.

I remember the outcry of Craig Bellemy costing us Daniel Sturridge.

Funny how things work out.

I suppose if Bellemy smacks Colin Bell with a golf club and Sturridge rifles in 30 goals before the end of the season things will change again.

One of these days Grobster, you will spell his name right and we will sing, dance and rejoice.

I cannot imagine him nutting another player, not unless he was still at Newcastle thing or we'd be stealing their move, but I can imagine he'd get a thumb in the eye, poor old Crocky has a couple of bad touches and BAM, cop that.
