To be honest it's like old times - losing one-nil and Dunney scored it!!!

Seriously though, these are NOT better than us and DO NOT deserve to be one up - we've had most of the ball, but as has been said already, giving away the ball cheaply and the final ball isn't happening so far.
I'm pretty confident that second half we'll do them.

dunnes goal dedicated to edge.

We need to match their intensity and will to win for a start and then we might have a chance.

Barry, swp and tevez need to pull there finger out, wouldnt kill us to be more direct on occaisons, we seem a bit lazy or something cant put my finger on it.

plenty of life left in this game....
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice to see normal service resumed with Dunny scoring for the opposition.

Time for Hughes to sort our shape out, surely he can see playing Bellamy,Adebayor and Tevez is not working get Ireland on in midfield, we are being overrun in midfield why wait until we go 2-0 down before acting.

Not playing at our best but I do agree that it has all gone Villa's way in the first half. Passing in the final third has been below par, especially Bellamy's distribution in the first 20-25 minutes or so - though he looked more like his regular self in the last 20 mins.

Dunney is just used to putting it into our net - why break the habit of a lifetime. It's up to Gaz Baz to even up the score!

I'd bring Petrov on for SWP, move Bellamy into the centre and move Tevez on to the right at some point early in the second half.

Villa are tough opponents. If we can come back to win this one I'll truly start believing but I reckon a draw is more likely. Dunne & Collins have hardly put a foot wrong, but there's time yet.

"Richard Dunne is agreat header of the ball, he scores lots of goals."

Who for? Certainly wasn't us.

Plenty against us though.
What are the odds on him sticking one in his own net tonight?

Fucking hell, did Dunney forget he is not playing for City anymore or why did he score against us?

Think Villa are doing a very good job of shutting us down, the way this is going I will be happy with a point but I hope they will come out in the second half and show what we are capable of.

SWP should really come off, I don't think that position is for him at all. Bring on Petrov, move Bellamy to the right and Petrov on the left wing.
so now as every enemy circles our city

Why don't we end this actually and bring Santa Cruz on for Tevez and let him put his money where his mouth is?

Lets hope we don't under-estimate then as much as you do, Villa are currently 5th in the form table and if they won 2 -0 would go above us with teh same number of games played. They are much better than people give them credit for, they are also out of europe and even though they have spent a bucket load of money they don't seem to have pressure either.
