tin hat on, but...i appreciate his sentiment and what he's saying about his team and his managerial talent. That he is honest about this isn't easy for most to do. He's in a line of work at which most former footballers of any serious stature fail miserably, so no surprise if he fails as well really.

he's getting no pity from me, but he's getting a half-inch of respect for being honest about it. that's not easy for managers in the shit he's in right now. Altho, devil's advocate, what else is he going to say? he's pretty fucked since he has basically turned this team off and they clearly don't want to play for him. I'm with Burt on this one. Keane's a shithouse & this is just another example of it. All his worst fouls were against players who didn't see him coming & he never said a word for 90 mins v Haaland at Maine rd but waited until he was in front of all his muppets at the swamp before 'doing' him. Typical.

My biggest regret is that he played in an era where most of the players were scared of him. I wish he'd've met some of the real 'hard men' during his career. Then his career would've been a lot shorter & quieter.
