Liverpool losing two nil to Fiorentina -

That guy Jovetic looks the real deal. Amazing close control.. I watched him when he came on as a sub against Lyon and I was well impressed with his skill and balance when running at speed. I'm not trying to say he's as good as Messi, but he has a lot of his attributes IMO and this is his full debut in the competition and he's running amoc.

He scored both goals - just half time now.

WTF, RvP just done 2 sliding/scissor type challenges that could've both been red. The ref lets him off with the first and carries on their attack then reluctantly shows a yellow for the second! How do they get away with that shit?

Fiorentina's back four are playing out of their skins (especially the fullbacks)

All Arsenal attack but no quality finishing. RvPs a cheating twat and Arshavin looks like a school kid who'd just got the Shreddies!

Come on Olympiakos, you know you can hold out!!!

Edit: Cunt, should've kept my mouth shut!!!

Edit 2: Cunt, Cunt, Arshavin just scored a nice goal in an off-side position. Funnily, the commentators just said that it would've been a shame to scratch a goal of supreme beauty??? He was fuckin' OFF-SIDE you KNOB!!!!

this could mean real trouble for lpool ... looking at the table you would think they might stroll through, definitely favorite out of the group. But Lyon are always a strong side and losing at fiorentina doesn't put them in good standing in head to head comparisons. Jovetic looks a player with amazing potential and I could see him ruining the day at anfield to drop lpool to third. wouldn't that be a treat. Lyon to win the group and fiorentina to pip second. I think all of lpools games away are going to be iffy for them.

I agree mate - I think this is gonna be the group to watch...

I know we're not short in attacking options, but that Jovetic lad has impressed me moreso than anyone in the last couple of years in their champion's league full debut.

Full of effort, skill and able to unlock a notoriously stern defence in the competition. Fuck it, lets get him anyway!!

Slow down a bit gents...ideally, we want all the English sides to go through this.
The more games they have to play, the more pressure on their squads as the season develops. It would also be nice if they picked up an injury or two, just for good measure.
All of them getting knocked out around the quater and semi finals would suit us...maximise their games without eventual success.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT

The more money they get, the higher profile they have for attracting more players, the more matches they have to give their squad players chances, the less pressure on the manager and infighting...

I think I'd like City to face the best the sky4've got to throw at us and beat them. Comfortably, if possible.

I know what you mean and there is a certain merit in it but I do believe the times when we need to rely on others to do our work for us should be over. If we win all our remaining matches we will win the league. Anything else is just contingency plans.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.
