For those of you that asked who ESPN was using as commentators, we are getting a feed with John Champion and Joe Royle doing the call. Come on City. Oh and Tevez!!!

Not to be dirty; but if our FC doesn't deserve good head; then who the fuck does?? Barnsley?

Yeh it was really good wasn't it?! I was surprised. Was it the same back home as over here? Joe Royle and Joe Champion commentating the match and Keegan and Styles in the studio?

If you scroll up you will see what I said ;)

Yes it was the same feed 100% (even when they were talking about upcoming telecasts for the Europa league the graphics reflected kick-off times in UK, so nothing was changed from the feed at all). Though there was no build-up pre-game show here in the USA, and I did not see what happened at half-time so not sure about Keegan and Styles.

Was watching in the pub - they barely got 5 mins at half-time, what with the adverts. Always liked Joe Royle. Thought the whole thing compared well with Sky.

Any ideas of when the next set of fixtures are announced for tv coverage? Probably will get the Villa match to watch at home, not able to make it to the match.

I'm really impressed so far. Schalke vs Eintracht was on earlier, and there's always a German game on a Friday, usually two Prem games on a Saturday and Dutch and Italian games on Sunday. If you like to watch different leagues it's great value and the reporting is decent enough- certainly better than Setanta.

Here the Spanish commentators are quite funny and seem to spend more time talking about where they are going on holiday and all sorts of other shit instead of the game.In the last one Wet Spam got a corner and took it short and managed to get a shot of that Shay had to save.
They showed a replay of it and one of the commentators called us stupid for letting Wet Spam do the same thing straight away.
The other one called him a fuckin idiot on air and told him it was a replay.
Well I thought it was funny.
