Who cares, he wasn't bought for his goalscoring prowess. As long as he contributes to stopping the opposition scoring that will do for me.

We've seen the likes of Anelka pass the ball to the keeper in better 1 on 1s before now so no one can critisise DeJong - his time will come, as Zabba has shown

Absolutely no doubt at all that he will. Even though he missed that chance yesterday what a great supporting run it was to be in that position. He thought it was a tap in.

When/if he does it will either be a deflection off his arse 1 foot out or a 25+ yard screamer

It'll be a Makelele for Chelsea job - given a peno on the last day of the season, scuffs it straight at the keeper then slices the rebound which creeps over the line.
Fairytale stuff.

If he's going to be allowed to make those kind of runs, definitely. I noticed Bob shouting to him immediately afterwards but didn't see if it was to say 'well done' or 'stop it'.

Probably "why the fuck didn't you whack it instead of trying to place it along the ground you dozy git?"

Yes, but not in an unspectacular fashion like yesterday would have been. In my dreams it will happen on 12th february, about 2.30PM, and it's a screamer

Yes he will and there is a good chance it will be a vital goal and possibly a screamer too - but that is not so important - The intention is there and he starts looking for opportunities when we really need it, taking the responsibility to try and come from deep to win us games. It will pay off eventually, plus just like his forward game in general he will improve in front of goal.

under the control freak. Why is my life constantly ruined by anal retentive personalities? Will he score?. Not as long as he's got a hole in his bum.
