Paper talk...that rumour was started on Goal.com then spread to a few more nationals...Goal has the biggest Italian bias i've ever seen...they probably published it to soften the blow for Juve fans who fail to realise the old lady is not so attractive these days...unless you're Wayne Rooney

Maybe, but at the same time it maybe that Juve are just one of his childhood teams. He'd have been about 10 years old when Juve were winning quite a few cups so maybe he has some sort of allegiance to them. And, the statement plactates that sentiment.

Doubt it...I think he's a Milan fan...here's a quote from last year...
I have been a fan of Milan since I was a child. It's for that reason that I really hope I can play next season there.

I wasn't saying he supported Juve, just had some childhood allegiance and if he was a fan of Milan as a kid he will have been well aware of one of Juve's winning era. It's all about
history you know.

Beefy it's not even his agent that said it either...Dzeko's agent is "Irfan Redzepagic", not "Giacomo Petralito" as stated in the article...the guy wrote bullshit on Goal and it was picked up...lazy journalism simple as that

Noticed this as well, it also seems to be specifically Juve for some reason. I have a vague memory of bollox about Iaquinta being a 20+mil target for Rags or Arse, can't quite remember but it was ridiculous

Why do we keep signing players who really want to be at AC Milan?:P
Anyways, think a few years at the blues winning trophies can change his mind about what club is his favorite:-)

Nope. Bosnian citizens don't require a visa to travel to Schengen countries, since a month ago (I'm pretty sure it was 6th December), but Bosnia isn't part of the Schengen zone itself. However, because Britain isn't signed up to the Schengen agreement, this is irrelevant, apart from the possibility that there's been a mix-up on someone's part about his requirement for a visa to enter the UK.

Yeah but he washes them out with water flown from 1000 year old Antartic ice cores guaranteed to have less dissolved CO2.

Do we need him for the FA Cup? I'd have thought we'd be using our second team for that.

We don't need him; I guess it would have been a nice way to debut, possibly bagging a couple right away.
