City have only been in the European Cup for one round in our entire history. It would easily be our biggest acheivement since Mercer & Allison & would severely weaken one of the Sky 4. No comparison imo.

Yep.

Winning the carling cup might get rid of that banner at OT (which now stands for OverTime BTW...), but we'll still be just lil old city, not a threat to the 'Big' four and we've won the 'worthless' cup....

Lets break this monopoly, the rest will follow.

It'd still be a great season if we won a cup & I'd be delighted but watching everyone squirm as we're sat there for the Chump's league draw knowing one of the golden boys is missing out would be one of the best moments of my life. I think we'll do brilliantly in it if we get there too. CL is often about counter attack & we're already one of the best teams in the world at that, as Barca found out.

Top six and a cup - to be honest, at the start of the season I'd probably have been fairly happy with just top six on its own, I mean when did we last qualify for Europe based on league place?

A top four finish and CL qualification...without any doubt.

Wembley is a great day out and a trophy but how will you feel when the CL is being played next season and we're sat outside the party, wishing we'd been invited.

You'd better make that..."there's always two" Dub mate.

I make no apology for believing we can win it...and there is nothing that has happened in the League yet that convinces me otherwise.
...and if Slim were to lend me $50, I would happily pay him back out of my winnings.

A cup please and I'll take the FA, so I can celebrate with my bins and see the excitement in their faces and hopefully they'll see what it means to me which means I'll never lose them to another team.

In my eyes qualification for the Chumps League via 2nd-4th place and thinking thats "it" would make me a hypocrite.......don't get me wrong I'm sure I'll come round to thinking that thats "it" too one day!

Since we seem trying to take it to the next level, I dont want the Europa cup experience again next year. It would be unneccesary.
Should we challenge for 4th and CL entry or for Europa entry - through cup?
I know which entry I prefer..

You say this, but if we reached the chapions league, we would then find it easier to buy the tops players, which will help us to win more trophys!

So i say lets get in the top four, THEN WIN EVERYTHING!!

Yeah, I agree 100%.

Cup without a shadow of doubt. I'd actually take relegation and cup over Mickey Mouse league spot.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Exactly my point! Theres a reason the cups have been hoarded by the top 4 teams because they have the players and getting into that top 4 bracket will get us them players thus give us more cups in the long run. It's like saying have 1 cup now or 10 later. No comparison.
