I agree. I'll be ordering a T-Shirt but I'd rather donate £10 directly to the site than pay £14 for a T-Shirt and see the site get a couple of quid out of it.
That said, I know that generating funds through sales of a T-Shirt is a more viable option for the lads as not everyone will share my views.

Exactly,if the lads could set up a paypal i'd be happy to do it.
If the truth be known im not mad keen on the t-shirt even though black is slimming.

we should be ok Dazbeh,
I said we should get 30 from the pre orders thread, but I reckon people are just holding off because of cash flow etc - im sure they will be landing quite soon
And Yes, FIRST FUCLER TO POST A PICTURE GETS A SPECIAL MEET THE FUCLERS, in fact first 3 - and the first one still gets a pencil

so dead sexay when you post the exorbitant postage like that. Wish i'd thought of it first.
Agree with LAHAD and others...if i'd have known before ordering, and i could have read it in the thread if i paid more attention in hindsight, that the site makes little per shirt i'd have just given a 20 or 30 bucks so that the mods can buy some cocaine. As it stands, i'll get my shirt and i hope they get their blow. That is all.
cheers

Just ordered a couple, and my first thought was that it was a Maltese Cross St. John's Hospitallers and all that. I blame those constant WW2 documentaries on the Hitler Channel - it's the only history you seem to get some days.

I think they used to have donations - people with their names in yellow were donors weren't they? - but then they either got enough for then or had too many people in yellow!!
If this black is slimming on me nowadays it will be miraculous indeed and I'll let you all know.
Anyway, where is the bloody thing?

It's here, and it fits.
If anyone wanted to know about the sizing I would say it is pretty genuine. I am 2XL nowadays and so is this shirt. Often with the club stuff it's all over the place - I remember needing 4 Xs or something ridiculous once. Photo to follow when I get someone to take it, if anyone is desperate to see it worn!
But I'm sure someone will do that very shortly.

As a lurker these days, used to post on the old board, I ordered one and it arrived just now, it's a decent quality and as John (459'er?) says the sizes are genuine.
Still love this board, best one out there. Keep up the good work lads!

Thank you to everybody who has bought shirts so far.
To answer some questions that have been raised;
We get about £2.50 for each shirt sold
The hosting costs are about £82 per year
After I renew the hosting tomorrow we will have £11 left in the pot.
The domain (mancityfans.net) is paid up until April 2014
A few of you have asked how to donate, this is appreciated and we will let you know how to do it if need be
Cheers

Yes I do battle about on SKY 459. Tricky place to operate though.
I also raid other teams' TEAMTALK pages, which is easier as long as you keep it sensible.
