Guidetti

Ok, we only heard the commentary obviously but am I wrong when I say it sounded like he was probably one of the most influential forwards we had there. Ahead of RSC I'm sure but I often heard the commentator getting excited when he had the ball.

Or am I just desperately hoping for something to cheer me up now?

Heard his name a lot and not once was it followed by "...loses posession".

Sounded like he did well.

Fuck me!!! We've been watching (and should have been learning) from old bacon nose down the road for years now!
Wholesale changes don't work! Either when dumbing down or bringing in 6 new "stars"!!!!
Gradual intrgration into any sports, commercial, social entity enables healthy, consistant growth!
Team selection tonight was downright stpid given our resources (even with injuries).
Yeah..its the Carling Cup........fuck it I can't be arsed going to Wembley????

According to Fred Eyre, who's son is a youth team coach at City, Guidetti was played out of position & unsurprisingly struggled. Had I been the manager, he's one of several players I would have picked, but played him in his correct role. Hopefully Mancini's stupid fucking ploy hasn't spoiled his confidence as I think he's got something to offer as a striker, maybe even this season.

This would have been an ideal competition for him & Boyata to get experience if we hadn't chucked it down the shitter by teaming them up with inexperienced no hopers.

Easy....yet manager shoots through expensive italian footwear! Footballers are not blessed with an abundance of grey matter in the main but this is just daft!! A gamble at best but more likely to set back some potential future players (maybe not for us) by making defeat a more realistic option.......durrrrrr!

Out of position his debut.

It would have been better to play RSC on the fucking right wing or wherever. Atleast we already know what RSC and Jo are capable of when playing as strikers.

Would have been better to play RSC on the touch line sat waiting for the ball to go out of play and fetch it back.

The lad (from the bits of commentry I got), seemed to do ok, but ffs play him in his natural position.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

Guidetti was pretty annonymous in the first half but played more central in the 2nd with Jo moving to the right and he did better. Unfortunately he lacks pace and got skinned by the WBA no.6 a few times. He should have had a pen but the ref was one of the worst ever (missing the pen and booking City players and not booking WBA players for same offences).

Based on 2nd half 8/10 for effort and 5/10 for goal threat (compared to RSC he was a world beater).

It was his first game for the first team so I think he did OK.

Last night we were shown up by Pablo the Clown - a defender so inept Atletico unceremoniously dumped him (finally!) Astonishing to think he was actually capped by his country - I thought the prem would be a step too far for him but then again he only had to deal with the likes of Jo and Crocky last night
