Blooding the squad was a good idea in my humble, and if you thought the selection was that shite perhaps you should have insulted the manager before kick off?

One is just opining...

Well fucking said. Never seen such a bunch of hysterical women (of either gender) in my life as on here tonight! People suggesting the manager might be sacked because we didn't take the whatevertheleaguecupscalledthisyear cup seriously? They need to take a look in the mirror and give themselves a slap! Very pleased some youngsters got a chance, and we got some gametime into a couple of crocks and old fogeys too. Shame if we won't get a chance to see how these kids would have done for another round or two...

Well said chaps.Good for the younger lads to get a chance.Ideally we would all love a win but i wont loose any sleep if we dont.
The team selection is spot on for this competition.

so you honestly think we have a better chance of winning the europa, FA cup, Or the league than winning this cup?

How stupid will we look if we get dicked 0-2 on saturday with two goals from Anelka who played today? That may well happen you know.

A lot of things might happen at the weekend, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Had we played a full team tonight and someone got injured or we got tonked by Chelsea at the weekend then it would have been a bad decision then too wouldn't it? the only way Mancini was going to be right in his decision to play youth/reserve players tonight was by winning the game.

we're getting so fucking arrogant. last season we were fighting for top four yet still played to win the CC.

This season suddenly we're too "big" for it.

but if we had won this and got beat by chelsea we'd at least still be in a cup comp, and you dont honestly think our league position is gonna be, resting on saturday??

well well well ,mr fcuking Mancini can fcuk off back to Italy playing the team he's played tonight does he know the carling cup is the easy cup to win ??hughes knew that last year ,funny we went out last when "the I TIE" moved in also see what i found on sportinglife.com regarding the baggies Baggies outfit who themselves retain only Nicky Shorey from the side that defeated Birmingham at The Hawthorns on Saturday.so that means they changed 10 players and we still can't beat them !!

How are we meant to get that winning mentality when he keeps pissing around with the team and not allowing them get a run going, by all means rotate but at least wait untill we have a few wins under our belt for god sake.

Well that's kinda of the point when the likes of Bolton, Boro, Pompey and even fucking Millwall have been in more cup finals than we have in the last 30 years.

Mancini fucked this one up.

I reckon if you look at the other big clubs who negate the League Cup, you see them nearly always play a strong defence.

The line up said "This cup is a waste of time, i dont want us to be in it"

Bullshit if anyone says he put out a team capable of winning. Any team with Jo and RSC upfront is not capable of winning.
