30 left is our saving grace.

With all the talk of splits in the camp, lets see how much character we have

If this goes to 3-1 we can forget it.

It's just to easy. We like to keep possession, they like to score; earn your fuckin money Mancini, it's not as if we've not been under pressure since we scored ffs!

I'm a Mancini fan, but if we lose tonight, he dereves all the stick he gets and potentially his P45. We haven't earned the right to ignore any competition, especially one where other teams generally play weak teams. The rags have that right, as do chelsea and arsenal. We don't. Cups might not be important in Italy, but they are here.

That team selection is a fucking joke, so I agree totally.

Maybe a smallest trophy we have a chance of winning but who gives a fuck.

My gut feeling is too much focus on this weekends game v Chelski and not enough focus on tonights game

Hughes had his critics but at least he had the brains to know that the Carling Cup was a good place to try and end a 35 year wait for a trophy.

Mancini has acted like he has already won these cups with Man City......he took the piss with the line up and in my opinion he ha sbeen taking the piss more often than not since he has been in charge.

I dont rate this comp at all as most teams do take the piss.....but in the same breath I agree with most that this is our chance to actually put something in the fucking Trophy Cabinet once and for all.

If West Brom win this, they've got a decent chance of winning the competition with a favourable draw. That's how fucking ridiculous this selection is. A trophy sitting there begging us to come & win it & we're giving it 3rd rate status.
