Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The pub near the biggest B&Q in the history of the world?
Is there much of a city following in there?

Wow. That's truly horrible name for a pub!
I'll be at home, in sofa, curtains closed and possible couple of mates with me.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

You anti-Irish fucker - that's a beautiful name. If anything's truly horrible its either the name of that poxy town or the fact that you and your mates are closing the cutains and hitting the sofa ;)
I'll more than likely be in either the Laurel's in Clondalikin or McNamee's in Celbridge, Co Kildare.

Sort of agree, but it's the only one I know in this town that shows English football...

Mick O'Connell's FFS. If you are going down that route naming your pub, why not go all the way and just call it Molly Malone's?

Perhaps it's actually owned and run by a Mick O'Connel ... If I ever opened a pub, I wouldn't hesitate to call it "Mister Nool's".

My fiver says it's owned by Dutch feller called Dirk van Daik or something like that who just happens to think Guinness is the wee of gods. That's the case with most "Irish" pubs.
