Oh, that's a jolly group of chaps. I'm sure David "Gooner" Gill and Phil "I do it differently to Manchester City in Bolton" Gartside will be backing us. Then there's Ian Watmore, who according to Wikipedia is Arsenal supporter. At least Lord Triesman is Tottenham and left wing so he might give us a pity vote.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Ok so he has until tomorrow at 6pm to appeal. If he appeals how long does it take to make a decision?

I know in major league baseball and in the national hockey league, if you appeal it usually takes a couple of weeks and you are allowed to play in the meantime. Any chance he could be handed punishment after the derby?

I don't know how it works with soccer really as regards to appeals and time needed, etc ... what worries me is all this talk about "fast tracking"

Lets face it the FA won't allow an appeal.. i mean how bad does it look for them that one of top referees is blind/senile or bent as they come...

How can he appeal when he hasn´t been found guilty , only charged - if he has till 6pm tomorrow there´s absolutely NO way they can have a hearing AND a dceision before weekend - if they do it´s summarary justice - we can´t have that after the Arse get 2 weeks from UEFA - no fuclin way!!

I am sure this has been said before, but nothing happening to Robin Van Pussy? He kicked Ade first, he ran over to our supporters and essentially said fuck you to them after the equalizer. Is it because we are well behaved nothing happens to him? Fucking top 4 bullshit.

the twat ref has no dignity or self respect.

I can't see anything but a 3-match ban for the 'stamp'. Be interesting to see how the club react. I just cannot see it being overturned by the FA. I still believe that the use of this 'fast-track' way of dealing with the violent conduct charge stinks. Especially when you consider that one of the board members is teh CEO of the club we will be playing this weekend.

RE the 'improper conduct charge', it would not surprise me if the FA wait for the hoohaa to settle down and simply give him a fine, dealing with it in a fairly understated and hush-hush manner. I think charging Adebayor with improper conduct and banning him may cause more problems than it solves for the FA. It would set a dangerous precedent. What next? Banning players for celebrating within 50 yards of opposition fans?

he has the opportunity (right) to appeal against being charged. If he does that (tomorrow) they will still have time to hear his appeal and dismiss it.

Has the punishment already been set or is this like the old Army scenario when you accept the officers award before you even know it?

of course nothing happened to van princess.. i don't think he would of got a card had he connected with adebayor, even tho it was a straight red 100% of the time...as for his celebration he isn't going to get punished cos our fans didn't rush field and throw projectiles at him

as i said before junior stanislas provoked the millwall fans with his celebration, but where is his suspension.

the violent conduct penalty is already set, yes. The committee MUST make it as if the referee had seen it, so as he says it should have been a red, he will be retrospectively given the equivalent: a 3 match ban

It pretty obvious those bent bastards at the FA dont want him in the derby. Were wasting our time even tryin to appeal i reckon.
It'll be really interesting how the club will react.

I would have thought so aswell mate, but looking at the Eduardo incident, who should have got a yellow, is leaving me with this feeling that there could be more.
