Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I think what the ref is going to say is that he was unsighted from the actual contact by Ade's body - but the angle certainly made it look like he would have been able to see it to me.
VIVA EL CITIES

He did wave play on, he saw everything perfectly and found it was not worthy of a yellow card by gesturing to RVP to get up... and he's telling the FA he didn't see anything.
MY FUCKING BLOOD IS BOILING.
A punishment for Ade I can take, but a referee LYING BLATANTLY to the FA so they can throw the book at him is disgusting.
Im sure City will be picking up on this FACT.
Clattenberg is a bent bastard, proved recently how The FA can believe a word of what he says is beyond me.
Im steaming at how fucking bent Cuntenberg is.
If as they try to tell everyone, the FA are like a court of law for english football then city need to get the best legal advise there is and have this case completely thrown out on the grounds that the referee's testimony is a complete lie and we have video evidence to prove it.

Clattenburg's comments will probably mean that the FA will treat the 'stamping' incident as if it was a straight red.
I don't know about the celebration - maybe when Rooney did a knee slide right in front of me at COMS last year in the derby I should have thrown a plastic stool at him. (Actually, a real stool would have been more appropriate for that little shit). Obviously, I'm not as 'inciteable' as those soft southern pussies who can hand it out but can't take it.

We should deffo appeal against this, show the F.A the footage of that prick waving play on and prove he was lying i cant belive he's said he didnt see anything the fucking prick.
From the OS
Manchester City have been informed that Emmanuel Adebayor has been charged with violent conduct under the Fast-track procedure for this challenge on Robin van Persie during Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Arsenal, the automatic penalty that applies in this case is a three match suspension and an answer to the charge must be made by 6pm tomorrow, September 16, 2009.
Emmanuel Adebayor has also been charged with improper conduct for his goal celebration in the same fixture and has until September 30 to respond to that charge.
The club is considering its position in relation to both matters.

No doubt the top solicitors will be flown in for this.
"Like all bullies, they've just found out that there is a much bigger guy in town, someone who is richer and more powerful than their worst nightmare. And this smiling Arabic assassin is intent on stealing all the treasures they've nicked off everyone else, and pulverising them into commercial and footballing oblivion as he does so."

Clattenburg's lies you mean. This is a fucking out and out disgrace. I really can't take punishment based on lies.
Its like burying evidence for fuck sake. Guilty people get off the hook because of evidence. If you bury it the guilty person gets punished but justice has NOT been served.
I feel like doing a bobby de niro in cape fear and making that cunt clattenburg's life a misery.

If Adebayor is charged then surely Clattenburg will be spending a few weeks in the Championship for missing such a clearcut incident?

No, and that is why he stated that he didn't see it. Clattenburg is the FAs lovey, and will have been briefed on what to say to keep the young bald pup in the spotlight of the Prem.

The FA have made complete cocks of themselves by bringing a Clattenburg statement into the equation when they really didn't need to.
They may as well have said he didn't see Ade's celebration either, it would have held about as much credence.
We've been well stiffed here and every single fucker in the football planet that doesn't support City is loving it. They've been waiting for this moment.
Although I do suspect there will be more twists and turns in the whole affair once our Legal people get rocking.

Chuckle 1 gets a fine and a 2 match ban suspended for 2 years for kissing the badge in front of the scousers...far worse IMO
So if Ade gets more for powersliding in celebration it is a fucking travesty

Precedent:
Joey B got off with a fine for dropping his shorts after he claimed mitigation that the Everton fans were targeting him over his half brother's murder charge.
The Arse fans were equally targeting Ade (and his family), so I trust the panel will consider that in mitigation and come to the same conclusion.
On the "stamp": Unbelieveable. Got to question Clutterbug's reliability as a witness, but he looks set for 3 matches that we'd be crazy to appeal.
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.
