Toure thing looks believeable - excellent news
Ozil would be a great signing but I think Silva is who we are targeting for that role mate.
have you seen the two of them actually play?
cheers
No, but their names sound similar so I presumed they played similar attacking roles.
That said, as ever, I like to learn the game of football and all its components from you Doomy, so please tell me where I'm falling short.
it was just a question. Jizzlord. But since you asked...
Silva is pretty versatile, but i think he has the most success on the wing. I dunno for sure since i've only seen him play about 6x in my life. Apparently, asking you that question made you feel insecure. Not so much for me.
Ozil, i've never seen play before this WC, and he looks like a more central midfielder/attacking mid than a winger.
Thusly, my question to you...assclown.
Pick up your ego and answer my question, mister informed. And if you don't know, then don't make up rude comments. Dicklicker.
Also, douchelick.
cheers

I assume it will be for the medical before any signature.

AS has us going in at €18M for Kolarov, because negotiations between Lazio and Real have reached a stalemate.
They also say that, as Maicon is now nailed on to Real, City will now have a fee run at David Luiz (who Real saw as an alternative), starting at €25M.

ESPN just said it on air, I really hope not. He is very disinterested half the time. He failed in Germany, was ok at Everton, but not what we need at this time.

Ok Doomy you Blue Oyster bandit, I apologise for misreading your post.... given history, (most certainly recent history) you could forgive me for thinking you were having a dig at what I stated...
But moving on swiftly - I have seen David Silva play loads of times - absolute cracking player with bag loads of skill and trickery. He can play on either flank, behind the striker(s) or part of a front three.
I can't say I've seen Ozil as much, but I had seen a handful of Bremen games and every game in the world cup and he seems to be given a free role to roam, which is exactly when I feel Silva is at his best.
I just can't see us being in for both because.....
They both like it in the hole :)

True unfortunately.
I also think Signing Silva almost certainly means no Ozil as Siva will probably be in the hole 1st chance he gets. Good news is though; it also means most likely no Gourcuff. My Elanometer's been going off the fucking scale with warning beeps on that potential disaster.
PS: Yaya= really great signing.

I'd rather have Ozil in the hole down to my slight reservations on how Silva would fair with the physical end of things...
Have to say Gourcuff looked wank, but so did the whole french team... I'd definitely have Silva over him because he can come inside like no one else.
Ozil tends to dribble a bit more... fuck it, I'll have all three.
As for Yaya - its all about the tackle for me - quality signing.
Annnnnnnnnnnd I'm all gayed out.

I would have gone for Ozil if if I was bent over a barrel. He certainly stood out when up against England's famous 'golden shower'.
Still, I'm happy enough it looks like it'll be; "Hi ho Sliva..awaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!"

It certainly does:
SPORT.ES
As announced RAC-1, the Ivory Coast and its representative, Dmitri Selçuk, on Monday held a meeting at the Miramar hotel in Barcelona with a group of envoys from Manchester City, headed by its chief operating officer, Gary Cook. These agents arrived at El Prat airport in the morning and were divided into two groups, since other players left for Valencia City to try to close the transfer of Valencia player David Silva.
The meeting between the representatives of all English with Touré and his agent lasted about four hours. In fact, all the actors of this encounter ate at the same hotel where being made. By midafternoon, the issue of the City returned to El Prat to return to England, with obvious faces of satisfaction.
Therefore, everything points to the philanthropy of this soap is becoming increasingly close, with the departure of Ivory Coast midfielder at Manchester City after his trip to Barca. As has been the meeting this Monday, it is possible that in the next few hours the operation is closed.
