Some serious words must have been eaten since we signed him... you know who you are ;)
Still think he was overpriced for a 30yo with dodgy knees.
I guess it's all comparative now, with the money we have been throwing around who knows what he would have cost this last window.
£2m/goal is a bargain for us.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

Ade is gonna redefine that bargain this season.

£0.65m/goal would do me. A Bosvelt.

I have not seen many strikers track back 50yards in open play and make a superb tackle like Bellers did today.Im proud of the lil Welshman.
All these media pricks sayin the players have come for the money can go and suck my knob.

Dead On Pal!!
And then breaking from Defense, He worked like wing like it was his and there was NO fucking with hm!
He was brilliant today!
Big shout to hughes when he took Stevie off too (he'd been quiet all game - if he was carrying a niggle that may explain it) and brought Petrov on and pushed Bellers alongside Ade up front was briliant, we'd been saying in the 2nd half while Arse had us camped in our half that we needed to do that and it worked a treat - so Well Done Hughes too!
I think I'm havin multiple Orgasms :-)
Bring on the SCUM!

He's never given us less than 100% in any game yet. Why are some people on here so surprised?

Yet again making a mockery of those who launched those vitriolic attacks before ever really seeing him play. Then another series of attacks during his injury at the end of last season. Ridiculous.
Really successful signing who always gives 100% and also translates effort into goals.

He really is the archetypal player that oppo fans love to hate, me, I love him for his
attitude and workrate. He never accepts its a lost cause and must be a right horrible c*nt to play against.....perfect!!
PS. I feel I've levelled somewhat of an injustice towards him in bold, he also has great skill, vision and knows where the nets are!

Back it up.
Honestly enough with the self righteous crap until you can back it up with not only posts of people's attacks but also of you defending him.
So...back it up.

Slim, you must have had one too many Fosters when we signed Bellamy if you can't remember some of the "views" spouted about him. Before you reply with the "back it up" bit, how's about you reviewing the posts and then come back and let me know if I'm wrong.

I have been very impressed with Bellamy this season, he runs all day for the cause, I actually prefer him in the position to Robinho because he tracks back more than the Brazilian am not sure there is a place in the side for Robinho at the moment anyway, I don’t think he would have figured against the Arse or the rags, I think Hughes would have gone with Bellamy in both these games anyway because he tracks back and defends, I think Hughes will play a similar system if not the same against Trafford Borough.
I also thought De Jong had a stormer.
And Hughes tactics were spot on.

To be able to win the ball and make a run like that (for SWP's goal) so late in the game speaks volumes about his fitness.
Very few players could have done that after working so hard for 80 minutes.

I think it's clear that Hughes knew his man well.
I bet he man manages him differently to the majority - mentalists/committed pros like that respond best to personal goals/challenges which allow them to set an example in games and on the training pitch. I'm thinking he's analogous to Neil Back (the smallest flanker at the 2003 rugby WC) - he was the hardest trainer in the game and Woodward used to take him to one side before each match/session and set him an individual tackle target ("the team's counting on you to make the first big hit" sort of thing).
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

You lot are such fucking hypocrites...when he first signed you were saying what a waste of money he was and how he would be shunted to the side once we sign some 'Marque Signings'
I knew he would play a bigger part in MHs plans and have championed him from the start...the guy is in his prime now and loving it
He is going to have a fantastic season
