HE hasn't been diplomatic and professional towards us during the season. I've made notes.

Still not happy.

Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Antti mate, I think you are taking a few words spoken by Joe Hart to convey his gratitude and respect for Brum, where he has just spent a successfull and happy season, to extreme.

Have you never been in a place or situation that you enjoyed and were happy to be in, that you knew you had to leave.
I am sure young Joe will return and focus on his career at City, settle back in, be happy, and further his career satisfactorily with us again.

You do what the tabloids are guilty of mate. Take an anthill, build it into a massive mountain by reading things that were never meant and you then create issues that never existed.

haha. Too true.

And the quotes I read further down after this, prove it.

Its all good for the nation to love him and give him aload of confidence but remember who the fuck bought you for 500k and developed you. It worries that me quite a few of our acamdey players seem to 'act up' at one point. Ireland being the other that concerns me at the mo.

I don't think being on the fringes at City at the moment is a cmfy place to be. With the window open and our massive resources, those who are not in the recognised 1st team but are only on the fringes must feel very insecure. I am sure that the likes of Ireland, SWP, Ned etc feel they have enough talent to have long. successful and very lucrative careers in football. If not at CoMS, then they may look elsewhere.

The guys a prick!

Hart wanted to remain at Birmingham next season, but accepts the final say was with Manchester City.

He said: "I just waited for my orders, and my orders were that I went back. I am contracted to Manchester City so that's where I will be.

"I will admit, it's sad. But it was out of my hands. If I could have stayed at Birmingham, I would, but it wasn't down to me.

"I didn't really want to leave, but I was told that I have to. It's just the way football is."

Joe Hart is a proffessional footballer who has a career to look after. He wants the best that his career can bring. At Brum, he went from being a kid with great prospects to a point of realising his potential. He was considered 2nd best here, at Brum he was the top man. His career flourished. What is wrong with wanting more of that and being sad that, that phase is coming to an end.

His future now contains uncertainty. Will he be No1 here, in front of Shay Given? or will he be forced to stagnate on the bench? Change = Uncertainty = Fears....and Joe, like every single one of us, wants what is best for himself, his career and his family.

Nowt wrong with that....and WELCOME HOME JOE.

Sometimes people say what their listeners want to hear. Joe's quote is the equivalent of answering the classic, "Does my bum look big in this?"
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

To be fair, we are the better career prospect for him without a doubt.

Also, he should be saying what weiss said! Someone post weiss's loan quotes!

“I love City and would like to stay with the club for many years to come and next season could be very exciting for us. Obviously I would love to be part of that, so if I can help Bolton beat Spurs, I will, you can be certain of that.”

Wiess had about 4 games at Bolton.. so there is a qualitative difference between him and Hart

Joe was made a hero and player of the year at Brum.. go figure

So what you're saying is if Weiss had been on loan at Bolton for the season and played more games, he would have been disrespectful too?

I think you are very sensitive if you consider what Hart said to the Brum audience, disrespectful to City.

i'm not using the word disrespectful.. someone else is.. so..

what i would say is that Joe probably got the best season he has had in his career so far and was under obligation to respond to Brum and their fans, and probably wanted to. Personally i probably would too in the same situation.
Maybe oooh maybe he was pissed of about being shipped out of City in the first place.. he has a perfect right.. especially given that he may well turn out to be Englands first choice in a few weeks... is as good as Shay given even if he doesn't have the experience and could be argued to be better than Shay

Does anything make you happy. Hey Mike, can you allow NQDP become the Doom Merchant? I am sure you would find fault with the way the Easter Bunny hops. Joe is a kid, who gives a fuck what he says? Actions speak louder than words. Do you think he is going to lay an egg (stay with the bunny analogy) and try and lose matches for City? Wait, don't answer, I bet you do. ;)

Hart's not a kid. He is 23 years old professional footballer and needs to talk accordingly and with respect to Club that pays his wages.
