There are clearly a lot of fans on here who are dedicated and passionate (which is why I like posting on here) - but join date is not really measure of commitment - I joined here I think last December and - well if there is a fan on here with a greater track record than me on being a dedicated fan (in terms of years / matches attended / money spent etc) - well I would love to meet them because they will be a rare breed

That said I sort of think that this is a pointless thread because it invites all sorts of anti-Hughes / pro-Hughes posts that I think we can do without - the only point I would make is for the anti-Hughes guys to slightly contemplate the old adage - you reap what you sow.....

When I joined this forum last December - there was a plethora of anti-Hughes threads / posts - it was hard to really understand that these were actually CITY fans posting for a newcomer

The one thing I really do remember when reading the posts from the more moderate fans at that time is that 'anti-fans' get ramming it down peoples throats about RESULTS / FACTS ETC - i.e. it is results that count - so I do have some understanding if fans would just like to 'tweak' the tails of those guys at this time - and it is really no point then stating what you previously criticised others for - e.g. but the Blackburn / Wolves / Pompey game may have been a draw / loss - if only X Y Z had happened

So guys - please lets try and leave this debate behind - but - message to the anti-guys - beware double standards
