The whole point is that todays "Fan" doesn't want composed punditry they want gossip scandal and a target to hate, it's a binary you're with us or against us world. Nedum whether we like it or not is a bit monotone for public consumption he's a very knowledgeable chap but he is a bit dour sounding.

Most of the new football fans of clubs probably don't go to the matches but know everything about it because they read it on Facebook or Twitter.

Think about how ridiculous that sounds.

A club investing heavily, improving its squad, competing at the highest level and making the league more attractive to broadcasters and fans is now something that needs to be punished.

But where was the Premier League when Mike Ashley spent years asset-stripping Newcastle United?

Where was the outrage when Newcastle were being dismantled, investment was being cut and the club was gradually reduced to an empty shell?

Where was the Premier League declaring Ashley an unsuitable owner or stepping in to protect the club and its supporters?

Nowhere.

Newcastle suffered for years and nobody seemed to care because we weren’t challenging the established order.

That’s why I struggle with the argument that this is purely about protecting the integrity of football.

If the system was genuinely about protecting clubs, supporters and competitive fairness, Newcastle’s treatment under Ashley should have mattered just as much.

Instead, it feels like the biggest problem only becomes a problem when the established clubs are threatened.

City challenged the status quo. Newcastle are now trying to do the same.

And when the same few clubs have dominated English football for decades, it’s fair to ask whether the real issue is financial rules—or who benefits from them.

Football should be about competition, not protecting the positions of the clubs who have already made it to the top.

Just shows there are fans of other clubs out there who see this for what it really is

Just a shame there are so few of them as the media’s indoctrination process is in full swing

Notice Ashley naming St James Park the Sports Direct Arena wasn't declared a sham - probably because it was the opposite to us and Sports Direct / Ashley didn't actually pay for the sponsorship and just used Newcastle for free advertising

He is driving clicks it's his job, we will never hear his real opinion. My feeling is that he can't stand the cartel but he'll profess to have different views next week just so people will phone up frothing and in a rage.

Jordan is an egomaniac so anything he spews I'll take with a grain of salt. Saying that I honestly think he can sense the wind has changed direction a little and he's trying to position himself to a seat on the fence from being 100% damning.

That's BS mate.

Sanctions are a separate hearing and only after the appeal has been decided.

Carra calls for swift Man City sanctions that last for 'years and years'
Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher has urged any potential sanctions against Manchester City to be "done this season".
Man City have lodged their appeal against an independent commission, which found them guilty of all charges related to serious breaches of Premier League financial rules.
The independent commission concluded more than £830m of owner funding was used to inflate revenues and enable the club to comply with Premier League and UEFA financial rules through a series of "sham" arrangements.
City are adamant they have done nothing wrong, insisting they are innocent and that "a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists" to support their position.
Carragher believes that any possible punishments against Man City "should go on for years and years".
Speaking to Sky Sports News at the Legends of Football Awards, he said: "Now that we know that they're guilty, yes, there's an appeal, but now that they've got a big guilty verdict initially, now I don't think anybody wants to wait.

"It has to be done this season, because Man City need to be affected for next season.
"I know the word at the moment is sham; it'll almost make the Premier League of this season, the title to be won would be a sham, if Man City went on to win that league with what we know has gone on.
"So it has to be done this season, and I think the punishment, whatever it should be, I don't think it can be a one-off punishment for one season, because this has gone on for years and years, so I think the punishment should go on for years and years."
Man City's first game since the guilty verdict was announced will be a trip to Liverpool on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
Carragher says "there will be an extra spice" to the game at Anfield, which "should be an absolute cracker".
He added: "I think it’ll be really difficult for City this season now, in terms of going on to achieve anything.
“Of course, there might be sanctions as the season goes on, but I think every away ground that they go to now will be the best atmosphere in that stadium, maybe that season.
"Everyone's baying for blood, unfortunately, for Manchester City right now, or for their players and manager right now, so I think it's going to be very difficult for them to achieve anything.”

Mere words cannot do justice for the absolute hatred I have for this utter, utter CUNT

OK , here we go ....

City's owners are absolutely the best you could have. I have no doubt there.

So, City sign Rayan Cherki for 30.45 million pounds. What we have seen so far , it seems a great deal.

He signed for 5 years until 2030.

I will not say who , but it has been put on social media. that PSG and Scouse 2 would be interested , should he become available.

mmmh... when will that be 2030?.

Anything for clickbait pennies .

Haarland to Barca ? ... rubbish media

Why would any City player want to leave the club ?

I've been told to stop wearing sky blue shirt and white tie.

Fuck off HR.

I've been told to stop wearing my Aguero 9320 socks.

Fuck off HR.

I've been told to stop saying, "Oh, do fuck off" to colleagues who ask me...
"How do you feel about being cheats?"
"You are complicit in fraud, how do you feel?"
"You've stolen children's Euphoria, have you no shame?"

I've also been told to stop 'brandishing' by Manchester City Champions mug 'in light of recent judicial outcomes'.

I'm not brandishing it luv, I'm drinking a fucking lovely coffee from it, thank you.

I've called my union, who have instructed me to cooperate.

I have contacted a lawyer who said carry on as normal - other than the 9320 socks and saying "fuck off" to colleagues.

Should I carry in as normal? No. I have 2 kids to feed. So I will cooperate. But I will ask, in writing, that HR fuck off.

We are currently living in some bonkers commie state in which supporting City is some sort of thought crime.

Be careful.
