If were going to persist with 3 at the back dias cant play in the centre on his own, we need some pace there.

Rather suspect that is why Khus is in instead of Nunes. Whether that’s to the detriment of the side remains to be seen. We’ve won three on the spin, which is as much as we could have done. But they weren’t overly tricky fixtures on the flip side so the jury is possibly still out

I watched the Arsenal Chelski game and from what I’ve seen of city so far we are nowhere near their standard. Maybe we haven’t needed to be. Tuesday and Sunday will give give us some answers.

Not for me, he was the only outfield player that could claim to have had a decent game. However, Donnarumma was the motm for me, some great saves and ensured we got the 3 points.

Rest of the team were awful

Apart from when he nearly scored an own goal...3 quarters over the line that ball was!

But it wasn't though so it doesn't matter

Chels have conceded 7 in 3 games. We're well above their standard

Early days, but so far, as it stands, we are probably on a par with Chelsea but miles off Arsenal.

We're miles off them defensively, but I think better going forward.
We really do need to sort that defence out.

Stop playing Dias and go back to to Khus and Guehi and we'll be fine defensively. This forcing Dias in is ruining us

Yep. Dias should be backup only.

Nunes Khus Guhei Gvardiol

Khus Guhei Gvardiol O'Reilly

Should be the first choice defence depending on which full back Enzo wants to invert when in possession.

Awoniyi and Onyeka easily had our two CBs for pace on Saturday. Even Khush was struggling to get back after the Semenyo brainfart that gave Awoniyi a free run at Donnarumma. We need that pace in the CB role with Khush or Gvardiol as Dias and Guehi is an accident waiting to happen if we continue to push the full backs high.

at the moment i think we are still playing the pep way, by this too much passing and going back and sidewards, i know other teams play with most of there players near there own pen area but we are not going to break it going from side to side, need to up the pace and have a shot out of the area now and then or put a few balls over the top for haaland or others to run on to, and if we have a quike break have more then haaland on his own.
