Like that, to be honest. We are calling him out a bit also, whether we will refuse Madrid but accept PSG's offer. I really don't think Barcelona can afford what we're asking.

All Rodri has to do is throw a sickie for another year get himself fit for his next club and have a big payday. He holds all the cards.

That's up to him. Doubt he would do that as it does not look good on him but we cannot sell him if he does not want to go. We could put him up for sale to start a bidding war, but he would need to agree to going elewhere other than Franco's boys and it looks like that is the move he wants. Sad, but true.

Indeed. He will lose a lot of sign-on value if he's either shit or injured all of next season. There won't be a long line of interested parties, if so

Is this our exBarca execs doing us a solid by inviting Barca to the party which means Madrid have to put up or shut up to blow them out of contention. This will be a massive loss if they allow Barca to steal him. I see the press are making the WC squad links saying 8 Spain players are already there so he will fit in straight away. Media doing out job for us, just need PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea to join the circus to increase the money war.

Don't know about doing us a favour, more like the other way. Farca still holding out on extending Toress's contract as they'd have to pay us a bonus installment. I'm all for a bidding war to put the price up but not for him to end up at Farca on catalogue terms. Doubt either Spanish club could afford our asking price. Sick of the pair of these cunts - we should fuck them both off.

Nico (s) stand up, both of you can take over. Passing 90 percent of th e time left and right is easy. wtf is David Silva when we need him ? ah , forgot we have both Phil and Mr Cherki... that will do nicely.

You made me look re Romano. No here we go, says he happy with contract offer- like with madrid cunts its never the contract its the offer from the clubs.

Much rather he goes to the lesser of two evils, if hea going and hopefully we get a bidding war for once.

I cant find it now. There was definitely a "Here we go" in the text, on a Rodri tweet from last night. So it's either been amended or deleted.

Never mind, one thing is for sure Rodri is gone. It's just how much we can get for him from the catalogue club

I would take Olmo off their hands if they cannot stump up the cash. No more fucking easy payment term hand-outs.

Apparently he , with his agent are in talks with Barca ( Beeb latest). So we can only assume the club have given him permission to talk. I can't see Barca stumping up the money, unless it is a bluff to get Madrid to cough up more

Agree, a good player though but he would cost a fortune. Not sure how much is left on his contract but Chelsea bought him for £100m+, not exactly a bargain buy

As much as I love Rodri and always have, if he wants to go after all his injuries and wages he has taken whilst not playing. City have stood by him, I say go, no loyalty from him and we move on.

Romano stating
BREAKING: Barcelona now in official club to club talks with Man City and very confident to get Rodri deal done.

Initial indications from Barça open to pay fee slightly over €45m, Man City in direct talks indicating higher price.

Rodri wants Barça.

Considering Van Hecke is a big lump who only had 12 months left on his contract but spurs spent £52m to get him. Yet Barca think a balon D'or winning world cup captaining, player of the tournament should only be €45m.

They can get to fuck, we should be picking and choosing who we want from their squad.

Barca will want to structure the deal over 25 years.

I used to do that when I bought a pair of trainers from Littlewoods catalogue back in 1985.

Turning into a bit of a cunt is our Rodders. Agreeing a contract with a club before they've even made a formal bid. Wanker. Wanting to "go back to Madrid to be closer to family" and then agreeing with Barca - prick.

Just fuck him off City and get as much as possible. No statue, no road named after him, nothing. All this after a two year holiday. No eye browed helmet.

Barca after Rodri? Rodri after Barca? PMSL. Shocked, NOT—ever since we hired their fan club, that Barca stench has clung to us like some cheap fucking aftershave.
I take it any sale to them will be for a joke fee -paid in installments over a fuckign decade.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
