I loved Phil when he was in form. I think his biggest problem is he is a bit of a pussy. For me he needs a bit more aggression in his game and make a few tackles.

Hes rarely out injured and has played a lot of summer tournaments, hasn't really had a break in years.

Videos of him online training this summer and he looks sharp. I think the change in manager will do him good.

We have played the last 2 seasons without Kev, Rodri and Phil in effect barring a few games but nothing consistent. Whatever Phil does now has to be better than the last couple of years because he dropped off of a cliff.

Could argue it could not be worse, but I agree. Having a fully fit and focused Foden would be massive for us along with Anderson plus whoever else is coming. Looking forward to seeing how Temu Pep manages him.
