Football regulator contacts West Ham over 'serious allegatio

Postby CBEM » Tue Jun 09, 2026 2:44 pm

The Independent Football Regulator has contacted West Ham over "extremely serious allegations" raised about the club's co-owner David Sullivan and said it is seeking "urgent information" from him about his suitability for the role.

---------------------------

He has already stepped down I'm not sure what the football regulator here is regulating other than jumping on the bandwagon that's already creaking with civil suit pay-outs. OK there is some reason to suspect that given his background and the fact he thinks he's a member of the politburo but he hasn't as yet been found guilty of a crime.

The only crime I have heard mention of is that the head of a completely legal porn empire liked to bang models when they were up and coming. His morals might be in question granted but so is whipping your knickers off for profit.

Exactly, these are not new allegations just that there are more 'victims' coming out of rhe woodwork smelling a pay day. I'm all for justice if he's abused his position but you've got to question why now - smacks of invesrigators tourung for business wirh a no win no fee type of attitude and i detest that

I find it incredible that if a woman takes the high ground selling her arse for money and she navigates the industry by selling her body anyone would be at all surprised.

Now if Sullivan actually forced someone then that's a different kettle of Fish but judging by the claims it doesn't sound like he did. I'm not in the filth peddling industry so I can't quote too much on it however it's weird how all of these washed up old trouts are suddenly finding a voice at exactly the same time.

This regulator is going to be the death of football in this country.

I agree, it seems very convenient that those who profited at the time by shagging him now suddenly have something to say about it now their porn career is over and the money generated from Sullivan's influence has long since dried up - it's difficult to see it as anything other than opportunistic attempt to generate a pay-day for the people involved.

But....if someone is subject to allegations of coercion through their power/influence (towards young adult females in particular), it opens up a valid safeguarding question when the same person runs a football club with a ladies football team with young adult females seeking to get their big break.

The regulator won't want to get caught in the event the allegations become more widespread.

This is as old as time itself, we really should be teaching our women to value themselves and not give it up for the highest bidder. I am suggesting this but it isn't going to change only the way that the activity is processed is going to change.

Whoda thunk that women who want to make money in the porn industry sell their bodies to influential people for a leg up in the filth industry? We should start to hold women accountable for their actions instead of turning them into victims and we should start concentrating on the victims of rape and sexual assault that wasn't/isn't reciprocal but genuinely forced.

Teach women that virtue really is beneficial to them and playing the field by shagging anything in pants for profit rarely ends well. IMHO they are not children and they should be responsible for what they do and who they do it with.
