BREAKING
Huge breaking news coming from the Championship.
Southampton, who were due to face Hull City in Saturday's play-off final, have been kicked out of the play-offs after they had spied on a Middlesbrough training session, before their semi-final second leg.
It means Boro will now play Hull at Wembley on Saturday with the winners securing a Premier League spot next season.
The Saints have also been given a four-point deduction for next season's Championship campaign.

Remember when any passing dog walker or drug dealer could watch City at Platt Lane?

Is there a rule about not watching training now, I guess so?

That said, it's a pretty sad, pathetic thing to do

Is it really enough of an offence for that punishment?

Do the dippers still train at Melwood? Might pop along with a camera and claim I’m spying for Brentford

This for me. Stupid of Saints to have done this, but compare to the blatant cheating we see week in, week out in the PL via VAR and you wonder what the fuck

I thought rivals spying on each other was generally accepted as part of the game.

Quite shocked.

Liverpool literally hacked our Computers

Southampton's shit is not my problem. Fuck 'em. Stupid twats.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Much ado about nothing to me. Big deal.

Put fences up if you don't want opposition scouts watching you train

Completely agree, although Southampton could be accused of unsportsmanlike behaviour, I do not understand what real advantage was gained by a young lad using his iPhone to record some training activities.

Liverpool actually hacked us and were fined a million quid, they weren't thrown out of anything, this is going to cost Southampton a hell of a lot more than a million quid.

Potentially a very expensive bit of disciplinary action.

Now Arsenal have won the league i expect the 115 judgement to hit the media shortly. Once Pep goes it will be all guns blazing and they will say he went because we were guilty , even if the punishment is minor.

The headlines write themselves
