Stones Leaving - Officially Confirmed

Stones Leaving - Officially Confirmed

Postby Nickyboy » Tue Apr 28, 2026 12:31 pm

Not a surprise to anyone.

Been well discussed about how many games he's missed over the last 10 years, but he's still been one of my favourite players when he actually gets out there and is in top form / condition.

His contribution to the second half of the treble season alone makes him a legend in my eyes.

The finest defender I've ever seen play for us. Thank you for everything John. A gorgeous fella too. The only man who I would catch in bed with my wife and not just tuck him in but kiss his forehead and give a cuddle.

Clearance off the line against Liverpool.

Apart from that, not a patch on Kolarov.

Me too, need to stop chopping those onions.

To top man, it's going to be an emotional send off at Villa for both Bernardo and Stonesy

Last game of the season is going to be very tough one way or another losing two legends.

What a player tho, that champs league final performance, off the line scoring with his cock against the rags, legend! My favorite defender since dunney! Class act
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely agree, like someone said the last game against Villa will be something else. All the best for the future to the lad.

Easy for him, though, he's got the biggest balls in world football, according to our manger.

My Brother got married when City won against the scouse in the mid seventies (at Maine Rd.) both my mum and dad were annoyed missing the match.
That was selfish of him , about 30 City fans had to miss the match.
We had live reporting sent to us by Aldiss Lamps

My first game against them was 5 May 96. Not a very enjoyable afternoon.

No one wants to get injured, and when a serious enough n injury happens ,you simply can’t fucking play - it’s as simple as that.
We all vent out of pure frustration when a player we respect keeps getting sidelined and becomes a sick note ,I’m one of the worst on this site for slating them especially with players I really like.
Stones has been immense for us and will be remembered as one of our best-ever defenders - that’s an indisputable fact.
Meanwhile there are some players you wouldn’t give a shit about when they’re injured because they offer fuckall anyway (Savinho springs to mind). Stones, on the other hand, got heavily criticised precisely because he was needed in almost every game.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"
